I always use the moving hand rails as I want a full body workout, I do 30-40 minutes on the elliptical. I see other gym users just holding onto the fixed rails and just using their legs but i don’t see the point, I want a FULL body workout. I always hear some people saying they go to the gym 5 times a week!!! I can only manage once a week due to VERY long hours at work and just life!!!!!! Maybe the ones that go 5 days per week are single and unemployed. I wished I had that free time. I do cycle to work every night though 5/6 days a week.
For a middle-aged woman after a daily cardio workout, which one do you think it’s better? I have plenty of time and currently using a stationary bike a lot. Thank you in advance.
This seems backwards...I thought ellipticals have the moving arm poles (to simulate cross country skiing) and the cross trainer only has fixed hand holds, but with the adjustable platform.

I thought it was the motion of the foot it traces out an ellipse through the air, rather than like on a bike it is a circle
