“Gritty”. That’s the identity of this leadership team, from Sheila on down. Make no mistake, Michigan is mostly working class hero’s, that get up early, work late, fix their stuff that breaks themselves and has to save their ass off to go to Lions game. Bought my first tickets (Seahawks / Lions) a game this year. It’s finally worth going. DC is textbook working class, how do you not love that?

I have faith Lions. 57 years and waiting but I notice the effort ever since Martha and now the daughter. Take us to the promise land. I may have moved on from the state but not from my community. Us against the World. Wouldn't have it any other way! Lets GO!

Absolutely right, it's great how coach is embracing the city of Detroit and it's culture and to him say how excited he is to live in the metro detroit area is really going to get the fans fired up and we need that. If there was anyone that could turn the team around I think it's him, it's just going to take a season or two.

I have been to lots of NFL stadiums including Mercedes Benz here in ATL. But Ford Field is my favorite because of the natural lighting and the industrial/factory look inside. Been to a couple of Thanksgiving games there and it’s a cool vibe.

I've been watching the team for what feels like my entire 47 years on this planet and there is just something about this coaching staff and what Sheila is doing that just feels right and special. I'm not saying we are super bowl bound just yet but I believe we are being pointed in the right direction finally.

Yeah this really feels like a positive fresh start. Patricia had such a negative energy about him from the start. Wish we would have kept Caldwell, but if we did this probably wouldn't be happening right now.

Fyi, in the Henry ford museum, the JFK car is the only one that is locked. The Oscar Myer Weinermobile by the food court, old race cars, etc, ...all unlocked.
I worked doing catering there on weekends.
Honestly Campbell is so natural and I live for it. It's so nice that he is legit and real leader! Its something this team has needed for a long time. I'm not expecting anything super crazy, but I do expect to see more effort out there with fired up players and better play calling by the coach's. I really hope this is the start of something special

Coach Campbell is a breath of fresh air! Patricia had zero personality and is not meant to be a head coach and that's why he is already back with Bilichick in New England. It really seems Coach Campbell has really embraced being in Detroit and the culture here and I really believe in a season or two he will have the Lions competing for the playoffs. Welcome to the Motor City Coach and I'm very glad it's you that got the job!
Say what you want about the fords but one thing you can never say is that they don’t try. So much effort and hard work this organization is trying their hardest ! I love the Fords never sale the team. Eventually we will figure this out ❤️❤️❤️

I think the front office has finally done it the right way , I’m excited about Brad Holmes because I truly believe he can evaluate talent just by what I seen in LA !! Even though him and Cambell are basically new at there positions I think they genuinely what you see is what you get , they don’t pretend to be something there not just my opinion but I’m dam near a 60 year old man and this just seems different some how !!! Not the same ole lions!!! When has Detroit made a trade like the one for Stafford and made out the way they did ? Not in my life time , that was a bold yet smart move !!! I’m looking forward to our future not next year but the future because in all fairness what Brad pulled off was a future move not a quick fix just to calm the fan base plus the signings that he has done in free agency does not mortgage the future to win now , hats off to you Mr Holmes from what you have done if I was the owner I would have total trust in what your trying to accomplish, I just wish they would have hired you then let you pick your coach not that I don’t like Dan as coach because his choices for his staff seems amazing just for the fact he is not one bit intimidated by the fact a few have expectations to be a head coach one day !!! The Lions are going to suck so bad for so long. I don't think this franchise has ever been in this bad of shape, including the MIllen/0-16 era.
What a terrific brainwashing session. I don’t see the bus taking them to view the many lowlights of the city. The crack neighborhoods where many of their fans don’t come from to attend the overpriced games.
Worst city on earth, still a fan but I’m glad I’m never living there ever again.
