Damn both of those speeches are so profound and applicable to life beyond football, got me fired up and inspired. “Everybody’s great when they’re not tired, when you’re tired that’s when the champions come out. That’s when the real dogs come out.” Insane stuff.
I teared up. Campbell as a coach and Jamaal as a leader. It’s clear how much they care. And how badly they wanna win here. They need to take a step forward this year and show that Detroit is a team on the rise.

The Hard Knocks crew said this was possibly the best season they've filmed in their careers. Just watched episode 1 and I'm starting to see why they would say something like that. MCDC is the coach the Lions have needed for over a half century. It's just a numbers game, it's got to happen for us one day. I hope MCDC is the man to bask in the glory of being the first coach to bring a SuperBowl to Detroit. Certainly has the right staff and culture for it.

Disappointing that we missed the playoffs, but I commend the resilience and fighting-spirit this team showed this year, especially the last-half of the season. This kind of passion and heart is what makes a contract worth it. If I’m an owner or GM the first thing I would want to know is how much you care about winning. The nfl is such a great league because it’s a next man up/come and go league. If you’re not able to perform, you’re out. Sheer talent is only as valuable as the passion you use with it. The fans, the respect, the rivalries is what makes this league so giving. As a fan of any team, you love to see this.

For an old, gettin' close to the end, 50+ year Lion fan, this gives me one last ray of hope. Our talent isn't on par with the better teams, but this group might make them know, when they play us, that they've been in a battle. I think the days of watching a grinning Rodgers while the Packers are up 30 points on us, are over.
I think we have a lot of talent. Especially when Jamison starts playing. Our WR core is stacked so goff has no excuses
@@UnstoppableFPS The only group we have that is slightly above NFL average is the OL. And, that is destroyed if only one of the core 5 guys goes down with injury. Zero depth. Don't be oversold. There is really not much talent on this team thanks to Quinn/Patricia. The linebackers and secondary might be the worst in the NFL. I wish this wasn't true, but it just is. Hopefully, Holmes can keep plugging the massive holes and in a couple of years we can have some real NFL talent.
