How much different is this vs Helium?

I'd like to buy a custom (XHeavy Z Bone KC9 7'6") pair with Daiwa 2023 Saltiga 6000... just seems like I can't find much info about using this specific rod for saltwater inshore use... Bull Reds, Snook, Bone Fish, Triple Trail, Flounder, occasional Snapper / Grouper, and Tarpon. Seems like most applications are freshwater, Bass. Anyone???
The KC9 6XH blank will handle Bulls, Snook, Bone, Triple Tail, Small Snapper/Grouper without any problems.
Is this the same blank as the Texas Mag for us Texas wade fishermen?

I own 2 zbones and they are awesome rods. Why did you choose to go away from the torzite guides though?
two reasons, Fuji could not supply enough of them. Also, we wanted to make the rod more durable by using the stainless steel frames with SIC rings. Win-Win for everyone.
@@KistlerRods although more readily available and durable, doesn't the torzite guides outperform the sic guides in weight and line friction?
@@mouaem1 yes, but the % is so insignificant IMHO. As an angler, I want hassle free rods and that is my passion to provide rods that never have issues. Trey
@@KistlerRods I understand that and the change in a business perspective. As an avid angler buying the highest level rod though I personally would prefer the best guides available. I'm not saying I don't want a more reliable rod as my current zbones have been, but that in order to have the best performing rods there are certain methods (such as raw vs coated blanks) that are done to achieve the best overall rod even slightly sacrificing some reliability. Sorry if this comes as offensive as it is a customer's viewpoint and I have been preaching this rod to friends with nrx and conquests which too were impressed with it. Are the kc9 blanks from the helium the same as the kc9 blanks from the zbone?
@@mouaem1 My perspective may be different since I am an Texas coast inshore fisherman (mostly wade fiahing). I have Torzite guides on one of my Freebird Sarge Custom rods. Boy did I pay a pretty penny (an additional $100 ontop of recoil guide costs). My fishing buddy runs a Wateloo carbon Mag with Torzites. I can find very little to no difference in weight or performance. If there is a difference its the kind of miniscule thing that has you questioning if its real or you percieve it because you are lookig for it. What was very real was the cost of my rod going from $475 to over $575.
I dont know if youve ever used them, prefer them, or what kind of fishing youre doing. I understand the Recoil vs Torzite is a different topic than Torzite vs SiC. You may be able to notice the difference in casting distance and retriving. I think theres many more factors that have play a role in those catagories.
