Only thing is you can get the klx on tw for 250 anytime. And when they were running the 25% off on them with the shipping charge it came out the same price as tw with free shipping
My man Deebo! Running the New Diawa Zillion with the Megabass Vision 110 Table Rock shad!! Watch out man that JDM bug is serious!!
I bought 4 in 2022, go with klx or helium, crazy good for the money. I prefer over some of the expride. Sign up for the deals...if your not on a rush. Received mine in 12 days
The KLX looks nice. These gear reviews are great.
kiatler was the first to use cap screws back in the day 2004/2010 and that was the thing then everybody started doing it,then he made this smart grip look up tackle tour review . I myself have a 7 foot zbone le from 2010 and a hilium apc 6’9 rainshadow blank ,best rods I have and they don’t have smart grip
Love the gear review viDebos, as it gives us a trustworthy voice giving an honest opinion for us to take into our purchasing decisions. May have to look into those entry level graphite rods while they're on sale. Thanks Debo, and have a great 4th with your friends & family!
I was just wondering when another gear review was going to come out, perfect timing Debo! Man these rods look great. My fishing budget doesn't quite have room to buy 3 rods right now even at 50% off, but I'll definitely be looking out for Kistler deals in the future
Thanks for the comparables. My local tackle shop doesn’t carry many of the rods I’d like to try and not having them in hand can make buying and direct shipping a setup for buyer’s remorse. I appreciate the nuggets regarding comfort since I tend to hold my reel similarly 👍🏼.
I was absolutely ecstatic when I got accepted to the Kistler team.
I just joined I pitched my first kistler rod combo
I friend of mine talked me in to trying the Helium and I am spoiled. Light, sensitive, balanced, great action. I've heard people complaining that the high modulus graphite makes them brittle, but I've never broke a Kistler rod. And I've broke a LOT of rods. I now have 6 Kistler rods, and love them all.
Got a 7ft 4 power Zbone and a 7.3 ft Helium 5 power. Love them so far. Prob the best combination of comfortable grips married to excellent crisp and sensitive blanks. Def will pick up another one soon!
Good review. Thanks Debo!
I got the one graphite last holiday sale… I can’t justify buying another for this year (5 so far). Absolutely one of my favorites, and I use to toss most of the time. I’d kill for a higher end one, but definitely don’t need to spend that cash till my kayak is done being rigged out.
I’ve got 2 of the graphite rod’s and love them.
Have yet to get a Kistler, and unfortunately missed the 4th sale. Thanks for the video Devon!
Great video man! I got two Aragon rods for $100 total from guy that was selling it. One is 7’6 heavy other is 7’ medium
Also am interested in learning about their reels!!
Super video!! Thank you very much!
Great review Debo. With so many choices in the market, it's impossible to get them all. That KLX rod was my favorite. 50% off is a pretty sweet deal though. 🤔🎣🤘
Just got my order of Kistler rods in the other day and got a 5lb bass on a jackhammer with my new feel n reel rod
Thank you for review ! The Z bones is missing from the colection .
Great video, unfortunately the 7’3” Light Medium Heavy KLX is already sold out but I’ll be looking for it in the future.
I'm still working on upgrading my equipment, but I think these are just a bit outside of my price point. Now, don't get me wrong, I would love to upgrade but at this point in time I can't justify the cost. I do love the info you always provide though. Great comparisons and in depth information.
Shimano zodias is beautiful, work a couple hours of o.t
Have a lot of fun with my kistler KLX rods, but I love the Heliums more. Have both models in my arsenal. My favorithe, the 3 power LMH a allround rod
Those look really nice and I need a new Baitcasting Rod but Walmart is my wheelhouse lol on my Budget. I’d love to try a St. Croix or something like that.
For sure, lews or Berkley even an Abu Garcia. The price of one of these rods is more than my Mach 2 combo.
Very nice rods!
I still have one their old inshore saltwater wade fishing rods, built like a tank
Good to see you use a left handed reel. It drives me crazy when I see people switch hands
Very interested in one of those Kistler Heavy MH rods for jigging/texas rig. I just bought a 7'4" Abu Garcia Veritas PLX LTD heavy for it since my old Dobyns Fury seemed WAY too gummy for it, but the heavy seems a bit overkill.
Hell of a deal!
Their stuff is just expensive to start and I don't really know if I can trust the reels yet
Nice looking rods and features. 3 at a time though. Yep tackle warehouse Memorial Day sale got me a new expride for 25% off!! 15% and off for Fourth of July then Veterans Day is coming up for next big chunk off!
You’ve got to try the kistler z bone!
Thanks for the heads up Debo on the Kistlers! By the way did you swap out the hooks on the 110?
By the way big fan of your content! 🎣🇺🇸
Got the older Argon MH 6’ 9”. Tip just too stiff for me. Trying to find a use for it but doesn’t really shine for any technique that I’ve used it for so far.
If they are always on sale, is full price really a price point to compare them to?
Hand comparison to palming a basketball is spot on thank you for that.
Hey Debo I fish with Favorite rods, the White bird series is the ones I like best I wish you could do a review on those rod's for me just to get another opinion
Budget angler here, I remember you did an abu Garcia max x review. Wondering if you got your hands on an stx yet?
I’m sure these are insanely amazing Rods but they are way outta my wheelhouse lol I just looked again and they are still 100-200 bucks each. It would be sweet to fish with a work of art like these just to feel the difference.
Have or could you make a video comparing 8 to 4 strand braids?
It would nice if the weight of the rods, and the balance of the rods are included in the video.
Just curious, how do they ship? Not a fan of the boxes that Bass Pro sends out. Like the heavy gauge tubes that others use to protect them.
can confirm tubes
Yep, good tubes and bubble wrap!
Whenever I put code in it says not available for items in cart.
How can you tell if your fishery sucks or if you suck at fishing? I fished for 5 hours this morning/afternoon and only caught 2 sunfish. I tried a swim jig, 2 spinnerbaits, and a crankbait. I hooked one decent fish but it got off immediately cause I didn't set the hook good enough. Am I fishing wrong, does my spot suck, or am I being impatient? Its a big river and I probably walk about .5 miles of the bank everyday. My best day I caught a 24 inch pike and a 1-2 pound largemouth in the same area.
Hey Debo, I ordered the Kistler 7'6" KLX rod and I wasn't too happy with it. The Rod felt tip heavy compared to other rods I have. Did you experience the KLX being tip heavy? Maybe it felt that way because it was a 7'6" rod. Now sure if you've experienced that with the shorter rod. Please let me know if that's the case. Now does the Kistler Helium feel tip heavy? I have yet to order the Kistler Helium and thought I'd ask before ordering.
The kistler graphite rods just got discontinued on their website. Is there a chance this is permanent or are they just making a new version?
these seem like really great rods and even better that it's made in Texas, however that's a little too rich for my blood.
Sup debo. We have 1 rod 1 reel, and 1,000 rods, 1,000 reels😂. I don't have any expensive rods, think I have more uglysticks than anything lol. I do have 1 dobbins rod but reel nut keeps coming loose? Great video, Ty tc
Kistler is perpetually on sale.
Appreciate you watching man. I know you use a lot more higher end stuff than me. What are your thoughts on their rods?
@@DEBOSFishing I've never seen one in my life. They are not very popular up here in MN. I wouldn't mind reviewing one someday though. People keep asking me to try the Zbone.
KLX is only 250. Online !
Thats a lot of scratch $$$ , but I do realize you get what you pay for . ( Most The Time )
I already picked up my rods for this seasons. I’ll do my home work on Kistler Rods but to be honest I’m ignorant of that brand.
My Scheels had the helium on sale for 250 with a free kristler reel.
I'm scared to break it also as it's the 7'6 extra heavy. Rate for 1/2-3 ounces.
These rods are very resilient! Fish them hard you won’t be disappointed
@@The_Bass_Stunters alright thanks for the heads up. I am going out to fish it tmr and this weekend
Do they have a glass rod? Been meaning to get one to try.
Their feel n reel series is a graphite/ glass rod and does very well on moving baits.
Oh man , now I need 2 friends that need rods cause I don't need 3 lol
Is there a purpose for using left and right handed reels? Seems a bit odd to me.
Cast and retrieve, I use left hand. Right handed I use for hard hookset baits.
@@DEBOSFishing Ah okay thats interesting. Are you right or left handed?
@@Grand-Massive both depending on what I do. I write right handed but bat, box, skateboard, etc. as a lefty. I'm an odd duck I suppose.
@@DEBOSFishing Ah gotcha. My brother was actually like that. Do other people use both left and right handed baitcasters or is it only cause your left and right handed?
First comment!! Lol. Good stuff man!
Kistler rods are way too over priced. At the end of the day those rods and all other rods are just plastic(carbon/graphite/fiber glass) sticks. No matter what the designs are on those rods or whoever built them, they're still just plastic sticks and no plastic stick should cost u an arm and a leg($200-$500) just to go fishing. Kistler rods are way too over priced and there are much more affordable fishing rods/gears out there that will do just as good of a job or even better.
Thank you for your opinion. You are exactly right...way too expensive if you don't mind supporting Chinese labor. We prefer to support American craftsmanship and that comes at a cost...but at least you, the angler receive quality and performance you can count on for decades when you pay for for USA made products. Thanks again.
