Whelen WPS-4004, Voice & Alert, Harwood Heights, IL (4/6/21)

Went to this LOUD 4004 today with my brother. The original plan was to do a Glenview thunderbolt with Alex (Wi Sirens & Elevators) but traffic decided not to let me. We then set our sights on Schiller park, but then I noticed we could make it here. This ended up being the second loudest siren I’ve ever heard. This thing threw some INSANE echoes as well. We were also questioned twice so thats cool.

Finally getting around to seeing this video! Reason it is so loud is because a couple of years ago, JS replaced the speaker drivers with the new “orange” drivers. This one packs a punch. You didn’t have the right frequency punched into your scanner by the way, I can give you that info over messenger if you ever decide to head back.
Also, at 2:25 you can hear the STL-10 in Schiller Park from a whopping 4ish miles away!
