The fact that Sir Alec Guinness created that stellar performance of an old war hero with many regrets, when he gets that 1000 yard stare when asked about Luke's father... that he did that with almost zero backstory and that the prequel footage can be inserted in so seamlessly to his telling... it's amazing.
