I had an opportunity to watch her Violin playing at Isha Coimbatore for 2020 Mahasivaratri celebration. She played violin fantastically and i believe everyone ( Approx.2 lakhs crowd )enjoyed by giving huge rounds of claps . Now i see she is a good speaker too. God bless young lady.
2 Lakh crowd? Your eyes Definitely failed you. The "Rough" estimate by the Police was 800,000++
@@ZENSIBLE quite possible ...i may be wrong. Huge huge crowd really. Thanks for info dear.

I too heard for the first time her violin performance in the Esha yoga function and felt stunned. It was mesmerising and divine. Yes divine. Again her talk in this video and demonstration was fantastic. Great performance. She is a genius.
First I was attracted to ragini's classical music in maha shivarathri function with sadguru. She is modern way of music attracted by ordinary common people like me. She talks of creativity, present, awareness and inner being create happiness in others. She is spiritual. Krishna bless her.
proud of you Ragini and your sister, pride of India you are.
She plays like crazy, just mind-boggling.
What matured address just like a professional Classical Teacher or Guru. Very enlightened at her age. She is uniquely creative in her instrumental recital & Equally talented in technical studies also.
Thanks for sharing.
Creativity has no bar that is why your violin emits such melody. All the best. Long live. Thanks.

She is doing it so effortlessly that appears to be easy. But actually it is not.
My blessing, you flourish all time with lot of wealth and health
Ragini is beautiful 😊❤️
This girl is much ahead of her age and really blessed by Saraswathi. The confidence with which she is speaking is commendable. It's due to indeapth knowledge in classical music and must be appreciated for her demonstration on introducing music on violin to common audience. I foresee this girl is going to write her page in the history with her achievements. May God bless you for everything. Last but not the least pranams to her parents and gurus. Regards,
Her Guru is legendary Dr. N. Rajam.

You are not only a perfectionist in 🎻 playing but you are an excellent speaker, a teacher and a bperson who can touch 💕. Keep going. Heard you accompany Sandeep Narayan for Isha foundation in the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivaratri 2022..the smile while you play makes your performance more vibrant.
sadguru blessed you on msr 20 ..now u r star...go ahead...
An heir to Smt. N Rajan,a legend
Dear Violin Maestro, is that sample bit raag that you played is Raag Durga?. Please can you elaborate for one or two hours. I am going crazy to listen to it from your violin. God Bless You.
Yes Rekha Ji, it is Raag Durga.
She was taught violin by her illustrious Grandmother Padma Bhushan Dr. N. Rajam. You can listen to a longer recitation in Raag Durga by Dr. Rajam available on CZcams.
Back in 2018 a girl Sangeeta Das in Kolkata was made to come out of coma by the music of Dr. Rajam through Raag Darbari Kanada played on the suggestion by one of the doctors......
Lovely you are a legend
i love her ❤️
Ragini mam 🙏🙏🙏
Royal mech!!!
Lots of love and Respect from Sri Lanka ...
RAGINI MAM YOUR VOICE IS ALSO MUSIC FOR US ❤️🌹🙏
❤ I wish you a long life
wonders of violen, jis ki haat me uska soundarya badta hai,
Best violin player
Best violinist is actually her Grandmother, Dr. N. Rajam.
Mind is still a computing centre to manipulate the data of memory that you put in! Music permeates even deeper!
She is genius
You're expressing the fine intelligence and creativity that God the Creator has put into you. Getting to know this God of Creation personally will change everything.
Is the violin also tunned differently than your standard violin tuning?
Yes.
Yes, indian violin is tuned C G C G.
Note that the tonic C is relative, not necessarily absolute. That is, what is called C on one violin could be D on another. Tonic, or sruthi, is the base note for that concert, that's all. In another concert, they could choose another frequency to be C.
Confusing?
@@AnanthNat Yes, better to call it Sa & Pa. Or 1st & 5th.
It's E3-B3-E4-B4
Every time we meet. We heart it you.
See 7:53 blessed listening
Indian musicians are a league apart.
yeah league behind ...
@@agnidas5816 depends on the perspective.. Maybe your thinking is backwards. Change perspective and the scenario changes. Try it my friend.
Wait this is my college!
Apart from music, she is looking like 'tamannah bhatia' in happy days movie
The lady is marvelous but the talk was too technical for morons like me :)
Well done. Could have made the intro shorter
Please give short introduction.
I didn't get the last word: "What can you do to make yourself and the world [...]" ??
What can you do to make yourself and the world smile today. :)
@@iLoveTurtlesHaha Thank you very much"
This video was in recommendations of neelambari video
Lovely!
Ragini should have just played her violin throughout, no intro is really needed for this music!
But you please note down ever y thing related to your art and make a volume of books
Everyone should listen to this.
Durga
Devi durga
@@cou07 I was telling about the Raga she played.
Durga Mata 🙏🔥💗
She played Raag Durga.
I can hear music while writing exams.
good
😂 I can understand your feelings
Ling ling noticed you.
Actually the way she holds her instrument, ling ling would not be proud. That's not the right way to hold a violin.
But that's not how the tune goes. Few notes are wrong. 😕
She should start doing the Ling Ling challenge
Maybe she practises 40 hrs a day
Twoset violin fans everywhere
Dude if twoset saw this they would roast her so hard. She sounds HORRIBLE on the violin and you can see some reasons why right away when you see her play. The two-set community is really this inept ?!
@@agnidas5816 I know that
That's the only reason I said that
But she isn't playing wrong. She playing actually quite good from the Indian standpoint cause many Indian classical violinist hilds the violin that way. I am a Indian but I am more inclined toward western classical music so I don't hold like that but I seen many wonderful violinist play like that
@@30indrayudhdas28 @Indrayudh Das What are you agreeing with? & what do you mean 'from Indian standpoint'? If you're inclined towards any kind of music, you surely would be knowledgeable enough to understand how Indian classical music is another rich world of its own, & how much the violin has been ingrained into this world over centuries. Do you ever find yourself appreciating someone 'from western standpoint'? Which should be infact more natural considering you're from India.
@@kuro758 Do not misunderstand me. I just meant that the position of holding the violin is different in India and western countries( In India we sit and play holding violin little bit down our chin but in Western countries they hold the violin completely in the chin without any effort of arm) . Ragini Shankar is prolific violinist in India. I think if something can beat western classical it is Indian classical
Also please search who ling ling. It will be a great experience.
😁😁
Ur Gayki style is so meledious
As ur Grand Ma"/
But it dosnt match to "Light/Film songs" sorry to say.U.never play
Films Song in Gyki Style plz.
Don't you think that you have got to improve this comment is for you Ragini
my my TwoSetViolin were are guys guys, this Lady is not holding her instrument rightly ...Ohhhh God!
She hold the violin in the traditional indian way, with the head of the instrument resting in the back of the ankle, which allow the left hand to move along the strings without having to bear the instrument.
Thats how it is held in Indian classical music. She even talks about it briefly. In terms of execution, she can do more than most violin players around the world. TwoSetViolin guys DEFINITELY cant do what she does haha
First India na tamil paasi palaku..music..can't selected
Too technical. Problem with South Indian
vivek thakur she plays Hindustani, not South Indian Carnatic - please give up.
