Have you read Swamp Thing Comics? 🌿📚
Big Swamp Thing fan- Moore's run is definitely the best, but this one is also good. I think Snyder runs out of steam and the Rotworld issues are kind of sloppy and Soule's run is better overall, but the art in this Omni is uniformly incredible barring a couple of issues. The binding on mine is sewn, DC is using sewn bindings now, they just use a lot of glue as well afaik

And I feel the same way about these swamp thing runs! 🌿📚💯
Criminally underrated run
Some great stories in here without a doubt, a huge collection
This has been in my cart for the longest time. I already have Moore’s run but I’m interested to check this out
Having now read both I do prefer Moore’s, this is its own thing but I enjoyed the ride. In many ways this omnibus feels as if it contains two full runs as Snyder and Soule’s sections feel separate in a way I enjoyed-added even more variety within the single volume
I love Alan Moore's run, but man this run is super UNDERRATED run for me. I loved what both Snyder & Soule brought to the table for Swampy. It was dark and so fun. The art is incredible as well. Loved your review bro. Check out the Animal Man by Jeff Lemiere omni if you haven't. The stories are connected to this one.

Honestly I’d read a decent chunk of the Snyder run as it was coming out and dug it-finishing the run here was a blast.
What I didn’t expect was just how much I Loved the Soule half, to the point where I think it was my preference in this omnibus. Wonderful stories all.

Blown away by how much I enjoyed Charles Soule’s portion
I personally liked Charles portion of the book the best too! You really need to check out the Animal Man by Jeff Lemire omni. Gives you the complete story and made me fall in love with Jeff’s writing. I couldn’t put it down
It’s good to hear I’m not the only one! It was definitely a wonderful surprise when I reached the Soule portion!
And I remember loving that animal man run for the first maybe dozen issues I read, I do need to try to get omnibus so I can finish it out 📚📚📚
@@TheComicBookReport I would love to see you do a review on it too. I do kinda wish they would make a Rot World event omni that uses issues from both books to show what’s going on in both their stories in relation to each other
@@allsome1o1 yeah I think I had expected that here-I don’t think it was necessary but would’ve been nice to have it all in one here!
And yeah if I get that animal man book I will definitely try to review
I like have read some of Moore’s run and liked that. Because of the writers, I think this is a very interesting omni. 🤔
I think Moore’s run is the gold standard for Swamp Thing, but this was still a fun read 💯
Both of these writers are creators I enjoy generally, though I am typically more of a Snyder fan. However I actually preferred the Soule stories in this omnibus.
Liked the Scott Snyder run it was very well done & introduced us to who I belive is Swamp Things main nemesis

@@user-hq7js2wf7h I usually read in bed on my side with the book open against one pillow personally especially if it’s a big one
@TheComicBookReport sounds like a pretty good way haha I just can't imagine sitting up at a desk being that great like I hate sitting at desks I like to chill out and read without being restricted to tables haha
@@user-hq7js2wf7h I have done Desk reading with on the bus, but I find reclined is my preferred way with books that are just gigantic
