A quick question, I got a rip on my hands at gymnastics on Friday and it's been hurting and it has bled but not bad should I wrap it?

+Aimee Wright I would tape it next time you swing on it but just leave it whilst it's healing :)

What do you mean? I don't know if this is bad or not but at my gymnastics they don't have any grips or anything apart from chalk what should I do?

+Aimee Wright As in, you shouldn't need to wrap it when you're just sitting about at home but when you're actually swinging on it, if it's not fully healed yet I would definitely cover it up in case it opens up again! It really depends on your weight and the difficulty of the skills you are working - if you're working giants and stuff or you are quite tall/teenage or above then I would definitely get some guards but if you are fairly small and light and are mainly working simpler skills then you can probably do without :) my club has never had grips either though, I had to get mine myself

Didn't know you could file calluses

you can use sandpapers for your calluses too... easier to use than a metal file I think
