Katie Schide is an American professional trail runner living in France. In August 2022, Katie won the Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc -- the most important ultramarathon in the world. In this episode we talk about that performance, the training leading up to it, and the emotions and lessons learned in its aftermath.

Regarding catching Marianne, we know in hindsight that she was injured (torn psoas). That is one scenario where 2nd repassing 1st makes sense.

Being a Mainer might have laid a sturdy foundation but I think it’s all her time in NH that built her up to who she is. 😀
