In this video I dive into how George Washington (1732-1799) is related to English royalty and ultimately Queen Elizabeth II. When I was researching, I also found how his ancestors are related to Charles Dickens and Catherine Middleton- so I will show that to you as well. I hope you enjoy this video on his family tree and how George Washington’s family came to America.
George Washington’s great grandfather (John Washington) came to America in the 1600s after the English Civil War and began his new life as a planter. John’s family descends from Henry of Scotland in the Middle Ages. John’s son was Lawrence (George’s grandfather) and Lawrence married Mildred Warner. Through Mildred Warner (George’s grandmother) George descends from English Royalty. It’s through his grandmother’s line that connects George to Queen Elizabeth II and Kate Middleton.

Hello. I Love watching your channel. I would personally love to see how Monctezuma real looked like, and/or La Malinche. The Spanish Codex and depictions of the past are based on their personal imagine of an individual. Plus, I'm pretty sure they all thought they were artists. None the less, I would like to see a more realistic imagine of those two. If possible. Thank you in advance.

Larence Washington is bured at the Spencer family church just 3 miles from where Princess Diana Spencer is "bured" on the island on her families Estate. However, it is believed that Diana is actually burned inside the family church. Larence Spencer is bured outside this family Church.
They are ALL part of the evil Scottish rite/Freemason CULT. Infact George Washington was the "Supreme Leader' of the US free mason CULT.
So did we actually break from the Royal ruling over US with the War against England?...most likely NOT. Infact is is likely the British (really German) Monarchy still rules of the US today.

My distant grandfather was Augustine Washington Jr., half- brother to George Washington. My mother used to say in an off- hand way that we were descended from royalty but I never really gave it much thought until I became a history buff and grew interested in genealogy over 20 years ago and started doing my own research. My maternal grandmother was a Ratcliff ( Radcliff, Ratliff- all the same) and going back in time discovered they were Normans descended from Rollo, the Viking who became the first Duke of Normandy and great, great grandfather to William the Conquerer. The Ratcliffs were also the Earls of Sussex serving Henry Vlll, his daughter Queen Mary and Elizabeth I as Peers of the Realm. You just never know what you will find.

George Washington's 2nd G.G. mother is Mary Townley Warner and her son was Augustine Warner ll, which was not listed. Mary's sister, Elizabeth Townley Smith was my 8th G.G. mother. My research showed that Queen Elizabeth ll was a descendant of the Smith and Townley families as well and they were very prominent also. Then the Spencer family are distant cousins of George Washington and his family back in England as they helped the Washington's when they were down on their luck. (There is a great video on youtube called " Secrets of Althorpe - The Spencers). Diana and i share 14th G.G.parents (Sir Robert Wotton / Anne Belknap from Boughton Place, Malherbe, Kent, Eng.). One of my Wotton's was married to a Reade Esq.'s daughter and a Dymoke also. It would be wonderful if you did The Wotton family as they had a very interesting life with the royals. . .

Their child who came to be my 8th great grandmother was Elizabeth Warner who was sister of Mildred (Warner) Washington. And she went on to have Elizabeth Lewis who is related to Merriwether Lewis. Father of Augustine Warner was a militia leader in bacons rebellion. So me and George are 7th cousins twice removed I believe.

Great video. I learned a few years ago George Washington is my 3rd cousin 4 times removed. I know I'm descended from Lawrence and Margaret Butler but can't remember if I'm descended from Lawrence and Amphyllis or another. John and Anne Pope ring a bell so I want to say I'm descended from one of their sons. Can't recall if their son Lawrence was the oldest or youngest, but I think I was descended from Richard which was the opposite of Lawrence (youngest or oldest). Unfortunately, I lost my family tree file some time ago so can't look it up. I also know I'm related to Meriweather Lewis like 10 times as well. My closest relation to him is 3rd cousin 6 times removed if I recall, but I'm his 3rd cousin, 10 times removed like 4 times as well amongst 4th cousin to 6th cousin relations. The Meriwether and Lewis families are another kind of inbred family which isn't usually brought up when Meriwether Lewis is mentioned in history classes. Everyone focuses on him being an explorer and sometimes on his mysterious death. They weren't Charles II of Spain level of inbred but there are quite a few intermarriages between the two families between the 18th and 19th centuries just from what I looked at.

I think George Washington would be several more generations back than just 4 for you. I don’t know how old you are, but for me, George Washington is about 266 years older than me. If he’s only four generations up, then that gives an average of 66.5 years per generation. I know that it’s possible, judging by John Tyler and his still living grandson, but I doubt George would be only 4 generations removed from you.
How did you lose your family tree? If you don’t mind me asking. And how comes you haven’t researched it again on Ancestry or somewhere else?
