Bit late to the party, but just a note... you dont seem to have cleaned up the injection ports, which is why some floors and walls are wonky. Theyre designed to fit pretty flush, so having an obstruction there leads to stuff not lining up as it should. I reckon dragging the floor edges over some sandpaper should fix it.
Nice terrain set!
Not quite for me though, as I would go crazy over the tiny bits to fill those holes. Just thinking about having to paint those, and then the paint coming off easily when using them ... (And I wouldn't want to have the circular holes everywhere, either.)
But the designs are pretty nice, and the system overall looks quite functional otherwise. :)
Are you going to make the stretch goal video?
The walls are a little bit high for me, but that looks nice nonetheless ! I love how you guys put the Warlock Boulder in every review, that's a good way to make it usefull hahahaha

Can this system be used with just the walls? Or does it need the floor to function correctly?
Nice review and nice product! I’m strongly tempted to back their next Kickstarter now, which I assume will offer a lot of the base sets, in addition to some cool new stuff.... How long did it take you to paint that section Theo? Like others, I’m not necessarily a fan of having to paint it up, but it’s not a deal-breaker for me. And for these sets, it’s mostly dry brushing, it seems.
Definitely check out dungeonsandlasers.com for all the details on the Kickstarter. To paint that section... only about 10-15 minutes using that technique. It's the same technique I use on my unpainted Dwarven Forge. I could probably paint the whole fantasy set with a few hours of work. -Theo

The Gallant Goblin Thanks Theo, I did! Also went to their Pledge Manager and purchased the Dungeon Master’s pledge with an additional core set. I don’t think it will replace my love for the Warlock Tiles, but as a DM it’s good to have some variety in your dungeon options, and their price point is very good!
How do you feel this compares to the warlock tiles?
They're both completely useable, and useable together even. The Warlock tile locking system is a bit more reliable and it comes prepainted, but of course it's a bit more expensive too. If you want to get a ton of terrain for your buck and you enjoy painting your terrain, D&L is a fantastic option. If you have a bit more to spend and want the terrain to be ready to go right out of the box, WarLock tiles are shaping up to be a very solid choice as well. And, of course, if you want sci-fi terrain, D&L is one of the only games in town. -Theo
