I agree that the merchant cart will be one of the more regularly used pieces. My dear late friend Terry used to use a goblin which had a sack on its back to re-supply the adventurers whilst we were playing the Heroquest scenarios one after the other. it made sense as your adventurer's are sometimes not able to visit the nearest village to re-stock on supplies, potions and weapons. It is easy to imagine as they walk along a winding path through the woods, countryside or lonely cobble road they encounter the merchant cart going the other way... great video as always :)

The ghost tree should definitely be a piece of interactive terrain a la Frostgrave: Fireheart...
The Hanging Tree was the last destination for countless rogues and cutthroats of old Felstad. While the great freeze killed the tree, its spirit lives on - fed by the anguish of the recently deceased.
Whenever any warband member is reduced to 0 Health within 6" of the Hanging Tree, roll a die. On a roll of 19-20, the figure is permanently Dead and replaced on the table by a Wraith.

There's an important tree in my homebrew in the worlds of Descent et al (Wandering Orbits of Light and Shadow) so going to have a lot of creative fun with various bits of tree kit and figures I have, have a big giant armed with a tree trunk, who might be a bit angry it has been destroyed, it has healing/life sustaining qualities so when arrow-and-axe-wounded and bleeding sap this might take a turn for the worst for which the KIngdom Death tree I also have could be useful and it might link into various aspects of life/unlife so some of the trees in DnL could be handy too.
So another good tip for model use in homebrews is mixing it up so the model changes at different points in the campaign, with custom model choices, again fitting things to an evolving story, hence here the tree may at one point link to the deceased and their ghosts, another to healing, another to corruption and bringing death or illness due to being injured itself (hence the sap as its equivalent to blood and being injured idea) etc

With any kind of plastic kit models for the gaps that remain and certain other imperfections or weak points I find some kind of modelling material like green stuff can be a useful filler, either as a neat matching filler or something clever to secretly cover up the problem, built a cathedral with some weak spots and flaws so used this method to hide it with a bit of natural growth (a few such imperfections/details can add realism too).
More for other types of build than these but a good tip is I also sometimes get good results by mixing up related kits and merging things into a custom design which can be fun or using spare bits such as my adding a raven I had leftover from another build to one of the cathedral walls. Sometimes do sections rather than a whole building so the cathedral is just two cutaway ends which makes it more flexible for tiling the game grid between them and more portable as to its scale a whole building would be massive. Also sometimes have fun mixing up figures like posing something as eating something else or an unlucky being injured in some way such as for the homebrew one part is after a flood so one mini will be a wounded being speared through by the spiky arm of a Shambling Colossus (Descent The Chains That Rust monster), a creature from the prior encounter (luckily I had the spare minis to do this), where these are things players will encounter it really brings things to life (albeit not for the food or flood-deceased depicted!) to add these kinds of details so it can be useful if you have an extra mini to work with as you can then put these little touches that fit the campaign story events in.
Which type of paints are you using and would you say they are the best for this type of model material?, any tips for the different materials models can be as you get different plastics, metals, wood, resin etc depending on the brand, so do you have any tips on what paint types work best for which materials?
Like the paint jobs you've done, working on a big homebrew myself so I have cough a lot cough of figures, scenery and props to paint but when done will be epic as allsorts from ruined cities to big castle complex, the dice roll is will it get finished (grins nervously). Quite a bit of my stuff is Archon (Dungeons and Lasers and Rampart Terrain) and they are good value, did not back another albeit really good terrain and buildings campaign as that company are very expensive so as good and useful as it was it was a no way on the price, but Archon are reasonable and plenty for your payments.

Thank you for your comment. I used to be an active easel painter before I started miniatures, so I use artist paints. I have a large supply of them and I am comfortable with their use. I don’t think I would recommend them however. There is one product I would suggest, modelling paste. It is like a think paint that does not shrink and is useful for gaps and texture.

The shipping box was the size of an end table. Everything looks amazing. The stretch goal box seems like a good starting point. It's hard to pick a favorite model. I think mine might be the horse and merchants cart.
I think your painting of the giant could easily be used as either a cloud or frost variety depending on need.

Good stuff! I got my two pledges a while ago, myself. Have been building and painting them since then. It's a lot to get through!
For the swamp huts, I actually connected the flooring first, and two halves of the walls & roofs. That way I could prime inside the actual huts too, and I could prime the walls & roofs one colour(beige), and the floors a different colour(dark brown).
I haven't put together the "sexy tree" yet, but I think I'll be heavily modifying it so it's less that, and more a normal tree. Just not my thing as it is. :P
And while I love that we got double up of the viking huts, I'm not too fond of doors on both sides. So I'm trying to figure out a way to "board up" one side. Meanwhile, I've started cutting out the doors on one side, so I can put them on my Renedra outbuildings.
I also used the inside flooring of the stagecoach to build doors for my Renedra viking huts, as I just didn't use that part for the stagecoach. Didn't want to paint the inside, so I blocked off all the doors and windows(and the crack in the roof) with paper.
