    Great video. Looking forward to more videos, especially if you do washes on sections.
    Beginner questions if I may:
    1. How many sections do you reckon can be done with one pot of paint (first layer/most paint)?
    2. How many sections would you recommend doing at once?
    3. How long did the complete unit in the video take?

    • @ArtisOpus
      @ArtisOpus  Před 3 lety +1

      Hi Gareth, thanks for the questions dude!
      1.) Loads, probably the entire box (or very close!)
      2.) Not more than 5, 3 or 4 if they're all big
      3.) Even with recording and camera (slows me down a lot) 30 mins, I am extremely experienced with the technique though, so probably 15-25 without, the stages get much faster as you go, as the paint stands out more, and you're covering less.

    Could you show how adding moisture again to the brush can ‘wake up’ the paint to avoid having to go back to the pot as much? I can’t seem to really judge that properly right now. Thought about it more with this sort of job taking more paint and time than normal.

    • @ArtisOpus

    I'm trying to do this technique with a tile I've 3d printed and primed but the paint doesn't seem to cover the same way it does for you. Your coverage is amazing, with no real brush marks. My paint doesn't seem to want to apply the same way, and there are even some specific areas where the paint doesn't want to stick at all. What could be the cause of this? How much of a benefit does a high-quality primer, or brush make? I'm currently using the army painter mega paint set, what are your thoughts on this? I want to really enjoy this hobby but I'm struggling right now and trying to find the thing that's holding my skills back the most, whether it's something physical such as the brush or primer, or just a technique I'm not doing. Thanks for your time.

    That does look awesome, but couldn't help noticing, there is what looks like an old wooden beam moulded into the blocked up doorway on the long wall section, any chance of a video on painting wood grain effects? Also, could you fit the walls back to front? So with the textured surfaces facing outwards? That would then work as buildings for games like 40k or Age of Sigmar
