and the best part was, it didn't matter if you were democrat or republican, most people agreed that he was the guy to lead. and he didn't care either, democrat or republican it was all the same. that's what we need more of. put the people before your party.
Imagine a president who went to work, got things done and didn't grand-stand every mediocre achievement.

Although not quite as famous as his successor, this guy deserves credit for setting the wheels in motion for quite a lot of things! Not to mention, he was the one who appointed Earl Warren!
He ended up regretting putting Warren up though
Two words - Earl Warren. Two more words - interstate system. Last word - Korea. All that equals one of the most underrated presidents!

Eisenhower was a quiet and strategic man. He put supreme court justices pro-Civil Rights, só the civil rights agenda would win with the time. He was trying to do that without the harm of a political solution. Wise man, he was one of the best presidents in America history, by far.
Eisenhower sent federal troops to Arkansas because the governor refused to let black students attend school.
