A few clarifications of some in-jokes
-the bit with the "redacted" part in the Dark Angels section is because a big chunk of the DA turned heretic during the Horus Humbug and the DA kept it secret and hunt them dowm.
-when he said 20 and corrected it to 18 it was because theres two missing primarchs and legions. they serve as a reference to the lost roman legions and also let you make original armies and still headcanon it as being an original missing legion
-Cadia was on the outskirts of that hell dimension, the warp's biggest portal the Eye of Terror. they were the first line of defense against the traitor legions and they got BLOWN TO SHIT in the most recent lore. The Cadians are so badass tho that there was still fighting being done on the shattered chunks of the planet, leading to the phrase "The planet broke before the guard did"

Unfortunately, Karens will always exist. Fundamentally, a Karen is just an entitled and slightly-oblivious person who is too comfortable with the societal norms favoring them. I just described people who will _always_ exist where there are spoilt adults with entitlements. The Imperium of Mankind is _space feudalism._ Virtually every person in a position of consequence must be referred to as a Lord or Lady by their social inferiors.
"The Brotherhood of the Viper" novel had a noblewoman in it trying to girlboss some Astartes to evacuate her from the planet because she didn't quite understand that "servant of the Imperium" doesn't mean that Astartes would follow her orders. Ironically, their manager did step in, that manager being an Inquisitor who basically told her to stop bothering the superhuman giants that were doing their job. She got off lightly, considering she had fired off a digital las weapon at a Marine.

The one thing that is important to understand the Adeptus Mechanicus is that this faction's goal is to obtain knowledge. They do see humans just as the same as machines, but the human body deteriorates and this can cause a loss of the knowledge that they want to preserve.
This s why they see the flesh as weaker.
They also are like this because of a civil war that destroyed most of the planet (Mars) this is where the cult of the Mechanicum started and where to survive they had to adapt their bodies to live in a destroyed world. This saved the people of Mars and is also why they interchange certain body parts for mechanical. Because they had to for centries and this became their culture.

Every Space Marine ''Chapter'' is basically like an autonumous small army (incl. their own fleet, armored vehicles, airforce etc.) with their own traditions, culture, insignia and specialization in some type of warfare.
For example, the Ultramarines are highly disciplined/organized/tactical and do everything by the book.(The ''Codex Astartes'' which is like the Space Marines ''Bible''). They have a strong greco-roman influence & their homeworld is actually a pretty nice place to live.
The Space Wolves on the other hand, don't give a crap about the Codex Astartes, are very anti-authoritarian and prefer to do things their own way. They're also crazy-ass Space Werewolf-Vikings, hailing from a planet, populated with giant wolves & sea krakens. When they're not beating the crap out of the enemies of the Imperium, they love to get drunk (with an alcoholic beverage that can kill normal humans!), tell epic stories of their battles and play with their pet Direwolves.
The White Scars, are basically Mongolians in space, who prefer ''Blitzkrieg'' tactics against their enemies, meanwhile the Imperial Fists are great combat engineers & experts for siege warfare.
The Salamanders, are famous weaponsmiths/armourers and pyromaniacs, hailing from a volcanic planet. They're also one of the nicest Space Marines Chapters, because they actually care for the civilians and go through great lenghts to protect them.
The Flesh Tearers on the other hand, are complete psychos who just go berserk on the battlefield and to whom ''collateral damage'' & ''friendlies'' don't exist in their vocabulary. They hail from a tropical jungle planet, populated with dinosaurs.
Then you have the Raven Guard, who are the ''sneaky bois'' of the Space Marines. They excel in infiltration, covert operations, missions behind enemy lines & guerilla warfare.
The Black Templars are super fanatical(even for Space Marines standards) and are on a neverending crusade against the enemies of the Imperium. They don't have a homeworld, instead they have a massive space fleet which is always on the move.

@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames These are just some of the loyalist Space Marines Chapters.
You also have the Blood Angels, who are noble Space Vampires with some anger management issues.
The Blood Ravens, who are cleptomaniacs eh... I mean they like to ''aquire rare relics''.
The Dark Angels, who go through great lenghts in order to hide that half of them turned traitor during the Horus Heresy and are still hunting down these traitors. (hence Bricky's ''redacted''-joke)
The Iron Hands, who are obsessed with technology and use cybernetic implants.
The Lamenters AKA the unluckiest SOB's of the Imperium. Seriously, these guys got it tough.
The Minotaurs AKA the Spartans of the Space Marines. They're mostly used to take out other renegade Space Marine Chapters.
The Charcharodons AKA the Space Sharks, who are the Imperium's ''Shock & Awe'' troops. Their reputation is so fearsome, that rebellious planets prefer to surrender than to face them.
And there are still many many more, not counting the traitor Space Marines, who turned to the Chaos Gods.

So if ONE of you, wink wink, likes heresy but still wants to be human, Adeptus Mechanicus may be your prime choice, as it was for me. Each faction, not just the Space Marines, have their own branches that set them apart. Adeptus Mechanicus, for instance, has a branch known as "Stygies VIII" where the Adeptus Mechanicus handle dangerous Xeno technology. They are very often on the fringes of loyalty to the Imperium, and anyone aligned to them tend to skirt the lines between heresy and faith to their Omnessian god. If you wanna go a bit further, there's even a sect of Mechanicus that broke off from the imperium to serve Chaos, known as the Dark Mechanicum. These are all splinter factions and diverging groups, but it just goes to show that within even individual factions of the Imperium, there are those that align to your more heretical beliefs. Not that I'm judging...of course. :)
    Praise the Omnissiah.

@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames Absolutely! One of the nice things about the tabletop is that you don't need to strictly follow coloring. There are some purists that are like "when you get your models you need to use these colors" but because the models are such blank slates...you're entirely free to look up "Dark Mechanicum colors" and just decide to make a Dark Mechanicum army for playing. Bricky, notably, talked about how he has a Sisters of Battle army where he's painted in all these beautiful pink flowers, contrasting the fact that the Sisters of Battle are some of the darkest and morally-dubious in the Imperium. There's that level of roleplay freedom where you just go "let's use this template...look for good sub-factions...and align to one" and I think that's so cool.

They fight until either their target who they deem as Horus dies or they do. Overpassing any wounds or lost limbs in the process.

They're alien hunter specialists and on the tabletop they are flexible even for space marines (partially because they come from a mix of chapters).

You know I think you guys would love The Dark Pictures Anthology. Its a series of short horror experiences (like 5 hours each) where you make choices that dictate whether or not characters live or not. All 3 of the games (soon to be 4 next year) are co-op with other person where you play as separate characters. Like you can plays as two brothers and make them hate each other or love each other pending the dialogue and choices you choose. Its very similar to Until Dawn, which was the first game made by the developer in this style, but I don't think that has co-op. I love the games and recommend them.

Bricky for some reason skipped clearing this part up but there were originally 20 legions. Each with tens if not hundreds of thousands of space marines. After the Horus Heresy, Guilliman wrote the codex Astartes to re organise the legions with intent to not give so much power to one legion. They were then all broken down into chapters that generally capped their numbers at around 1000 (some break these rules and in recent lore I think the limit was raised) so there are hundreds of chapters out there now. All with a lineage in a legion and even some loyalist chapters rumoured to have genetic lineage in traitor primarchs.

2- The Emperor would born again if he dies (it already happened since the dawn of Humanity), but the ones who put Him in the throne and feed Him the 1000 souls/day do not know that.. As they were the first generation to be presented by the true Emperor's form.

I commented awhile ago, just to jog your memory, I said that you could look like Christian Bale if you wanted to. Gonna assume that was memorable.
To answer the question at the end, you wanted to know about the primarchs. Horus (primarch of the Luna Wolves, legion 16) was officially the first one found, as the planet he landed on was very close to Earth/Terra. They have tried to change it in a recent book, that Alpharius (the primarch of the Alpha Legion, legion 20) was found first, but kept a secret, but Horus was the star. He did everything perfect, he was the guy with the most success, etc. He was given the title of Warmaster, and his legion was renamed the Sons of Horus. But the Emperor left him in charge of everything while he snuck off to do something back on Terra, and after getting injured on a backwater planet called Davin, he kinda turned evil.

I do feel mankind’s fanatical religious escapism can be less compelling compared to the answers a lot of the xenos have...perhaps it’s telling that the mechanicus are my favorite human force; still humanity is at the core of the lore, so it’s worth getting to know the basics of them. There is another aspect to why the Adeptus MEchanicus can work within the Imperium without following the Ecclesiarchy: Back when the Emperor started his Crusade, his first notable stop was Mars, where he was recognized as the Omissiah by the local Mechanicum (the predecessor of the Sadptus Mechanicus). The Omnissiah is basically the physical manifestation of the Machine God (they have a full trinity, in the religious sense, going on with these two and the Motive force).
Bricky describes quite well how they get away with worshiping the Emperor in a different manner than everybody else, though.
On a side note, he had a hand in the formation of the Mechanicum too, so he basically set himself up as their highest religious authority for when he needed it. I don't think it's ever really examined how that matches his hard anti religion stance during the Crusade, though it's also implied that some of his early plans in the fight against Chaos involved establishing religions after his vision, so that might be a remnant of that phase and potential plans to rectify that didn't get started because he's stuck on permanent life support.
The rituals and chanting they perform to appease the Machine Spirits usually includes what we would the correct steps for maintenance or operation of the device in question. They may just spend half a day chanting garbled nonsense text in binary before hitting the on switch. Or the chanting contains actual voiced commands for a startup sequence within the garbage nonsense text. Their application of holy oils may hit a lot more of the machine than necessary, but it also hits the parts that actually need to be oiled, and I'd suspect the parts that don't need the oiled get ritually cleaned in one of the next steps.
This doesn't mean that Machine Spirits are fake or something like that, because there is another aspects about Machine Spirits Bricky didn't bring up:
There are stories that involve machines, especially weapons, working in key situations even though they physically should not be able to do so. Especially machines that are well cared for even by Adeptus Mechanicus standards.
Tanks that could drive that extra mile even though the engine was critically hit already (as in, completely busted and physically unable to move the vehicle), bringing their crew to safety.
Vehicles that were believed to be beyond saving making one last movement without a driver, sometimes without fuel, to take the hit for one of their crew.
Weapons going off on their own and saving their wielder from a surprise attack. Again, sometimes without the required ammunition or energy.

And it can be literally anyone. It can be you.
