    I hope you really understand how informative and helpful you are to people who are just looking for answers to common questions relating to farming with old offset Farmalls. You put information and practices out that many aren't familiar with in a way anyone can understand, your channel is an asset to the worldwide Farmall community and deserves acknowledgement as such.

    Burch Tractor has the worm gear you need. They have not failed to source anything I needed for my 1979 140. By the way… appreciate your channel. I dug out of my old barn my Grandfather’s old Farmall recently and got it going again after setting for 30years. Burch Tractor has been my go to for parts and your channel for revisiting and refreshing my memory on how this old tractor works. Latest project is rebuilding the final drives and figuring out the fertilizer/planter. Oh, everything on the table’ especially the one you said you have just one of, I got one from Burch. Hope that helps.

    Joey I haven't pulled my counter shaft or the bent draft bar I built from your pictures since the day I put it on. It makes me want to give you a man hug every time I get on the tractor now. It makes life nice being able to let the counter shaft live permanently on the tractor.

    Another great video.
    To help on cool night, put a box type fan blowing on your fruit trees. This movement of air will do wonders for frost protection. Use them on all my fruit trees. The big orchards have a large propeller mounted on a 30 foot steel tower. They are powered by a V10 engine. The prop is 8 or 10 long.
    I use the sweeps between the rows to weed. The half shovels I use for hilling, mostly corn, and maybe the first time hilling potatoes.
    Enjoyed your last video on hooking up the Wi-Fi extended. I need that in my wood shop, but am about six bricks short of knowing how to hook it up in the house.
    Have a good week. Blessing to all.

    Great video Joey lots of good information. It got 28 here the other night in Georgia. It burnt my taters but they will come back. I wish I could find some half sweeps for my 130. Also my biggest question is do you have to run that draft bar when using a fast hitch planter or will it bury your seed to deep?? Thanks for the content Joey. Always so helpful!

    • @Jtwes
      @Jtwes  Před rokem

      Hey Kyle
      It’s probably better to not have the draft bar on when planting. The planter will be more level. I don’t always do that lol but that’s the better way.

I checked the tank today and it looks like new inside, no rust. I wasn't able to get the 140 back homeJust an FYI on covering plants with plastic. We were always taught to use cloth. Plastic will draw and conduct the cold much easier than a cloth covering. Hope it makes it! God Bless!

      @@Jtwes Good Luck with Leno! LOL in Central Fl we always covered the shrubs, etc with sheets or blankets. Haven't had to worry with it in a few years now. Just subscribed to your channel. looking forward to viewing the great selection of content. I have a question about row spacing. was too small to remember how Pa did it. If the most narrow setting for the wheels was 44" what was the row spacing? I remember something about 36 or 38" but how does that match up with the tires at 44"? Thanks again for your time in producing the informative videos.
