It has been in our family since 1970 and has been lovingly maintained and lightly used since purchased. The cabin offers access to millions of acres of the Tonto National Forest via short walk in almost any direction. Because our cabin sits right on the bank of the East Verde River, it offers delightfully cool summer breezes and year round natural music both day and night.
The cabin is a great place to relax and cook outdoors while the kids enjoy fishing and exploring the natural river in the back yard. In fact, there is a good fishing hole immediately below the cabin that will suit young kids and avid anglers alike. The area also offers swimming, hiking, rock collecting, historic Indian ruins and endless nature walks for the whole family. There is also a fenced family playground for young children immediately in front of the cabin.
Outside the Double-R Cabin is a natural stone patio complete with a wonderful river-side BBQ grill and eating area shaded by mature hardwoods. Inside the cabin is a knotty pine interior with rustic decorations that amplify the warm ambiance making your family experience even more memorable?
