This is a very nice unit
I would buy a Serato version of this controller tomorrow, I have nothing against Rekordbox but I am very comfortable with Serato and seeing Pioneer have decided to produce the DDJ-1000SRT for Serato so why not produce an 800 version to give us a wider choice for what looks to be a fantastic controller even at the fairly high price point they have set it at.
Can you upgrade the crossfader like on the SX models? There are no screws on the side... thx!

Hi is it better than the DDJ SR2 we know they're Different software it about the controller.
Im facing prblm of low volume output through external speakers also red light pops up in each song for both master and channel

I have downloaded the latest version of rekordbox and Latest audio drivers for it
I also have ddj 1000 srt n it sounds great
I want to know that is it my controller prblm or laptop of its thr matter of software

Im not using the youtube rips i play wav files from beatport
And when i play 128 kbps mp3 on ddj 1000 srt it sound best then my wav files on rekordbox with ddj 800

So Pioneer where is the 800 Serato dj version ? Because I have the money I’m just waiting on you guys to drop it.
It may be a little while yet. They only just dropped the serato version of the ddj 1000

Yes with the correct connection from your media play to the inputs on the DDJ-800 this is possible.

@@polo000123 This would be the USB that came with the DDJ-800 when shipped. Depending on your laptop inputs you may need an adapter if you don't have any USB 2.0 or 3.0 inputs.
Does DDJ-800 have a metal build o a plastic one?
It looks to be a plastic build but don't have 100% confirmation on that. The unit feels very rugged.
Can I remap sample level knob to FX2 lvl ?
To remap the controller, first click the MIDI button within the Rekordbox software and find the setting you would like to map and reassign.
Can you Cue the Aux?
i must be doing something wrong, no sound from powered speakers and jog wheels say no audio listing ( says something like that). please help. newbie here :)

I started with the Nu mark nv2 was good but then got the Ddj sx3 what this taught me bigger knobs are better especially when it’s dark the 800’s going for about £600 online so I got one was a toss up between that or the 400 but the jog wheels just look better on the 800 but if you feeling flush get the ddj 1000
I have the sx3 why was the jog adjust not on that kmt
Hi Alexzander, each controller has it's own unique combination of features.
techformusic i hear that but if that feature was on the sx3 it would have improved it trying to pull off an effective backspin is difficult as it is quite stiff, surprising when this controller is aimed at the mobile dj, as i play a lot of reggae and dancehall the back spin is key, other than that like it, maybe on the sx4 add the on jog displays and jog adjust and that would be the perfect controller for me anyway😎

This one or the DDJ-RR?
The DDJ-RR has been discontinued now so the DDJ-800 would be a very suitable replacement or alternative to the RR.

@@gixxerboy555 very responsive pads and can't fault the sound quality. Having the option of a standalone mixer gives you more flexibility, which is an added bonus.
