Thank you for sharing this, great video! Replacement was a breeze. On the old hose, I took the trigger enclosure apart to get hose clip if ever needed. 😊
Worked like a champ, thanks! 14:01
Just the video I needed! Very useful for replacing my own SpotBot hose.
Worked perfectly for me, thanks a lot!
I. Skipped the pocket knife, used a bic candle lighter, 3 sec and 1 inch below hose just slid right off like butter.
Thanks! (told my wife that I needed a Benchmade knife to make a professional repair 😉)
I have almost the exact same cleaner (33N8A)...do you think this will work with that one?
Yes I researched the model number that is the exact same machine with a different color and label. Should work the same for you
I tried to clean out my hose by sucking up a few gallons of hot water. Now my hose seems like it shrunk and won't wrap all the way around to connect to the valve. Any suggestions on how to stretch out the hose?
There's a groove the hose has to sit in to wrap all the way around. Typically the hoses get a lot stiffer over time and usually need to be replaced.
Idk why bissell needed that hose to be that stiff. Unless they did it unpurpose which is possible knowing bissell carpet cleaners and spot cleaners quality and reliability.
I couldnt agree more! My hand literally HURTS after I use mine. I want to pitch mine but I dont want to shell out another hundred bucks
I think it's so it doesn't kink. But as an arthritis sufferer, I wish it was easier on my hands!
It's just normal wear and tear...
