Hose Repair - Bissell Spot Clean ProHeatPet

The Bissell Spot Clean Pro is a portable extractor tool. It is perfect for cleaning up pet messes or any general upholstery cleaning application. But the hose tends to get worn down and breaks just behind the extractor nozzle. This is a common issue if you read through reviews for this extractor.
In this video I show you how to repair the hose on the Bissell Spot Clean ProHeatPet.
Tools I used for this repair:
Wire cutters
Needle-nose pliers (to remove old hose from nozzle and bend wire end)
Gel Super Glue
WrapIt hose repair tape

Tips:
1. I took off the brush head and the cleaning solution supply hose and it was *much* easier to clean the threads.
2. The hose threads in the opposite of normal screws. It’s counterclockwise to go in. We are not discussing how long it took me to realize that.

That hose material is the brittlest. It seems the company made that way on purpose.

I know this is old but would it be possible to merge two hoses together to add length? I came across a hose with no ends i wanted to join together
