Did you know that leg stretches in ballet don’t have to be painful if we learned how to relax our muscles at the right time?
Breathing coordination plays a major role in our exercise, and if done properly, we can finally feel our body, and especially our legs, elongating and letting go of all the tension accumulated during the day. Both physical and mental. 🧘♀️
I highly recommend getting into this deep stretch warmed up for 2 reasons:
1️⃣ your body won”t get injured
2️⃣ the stretch for your legs is way more effective if lots of blood and oxygen is flowing around the muscles.
