    Pro tip: make the chocolate more yummy by pushing pretzels on the underside of the heart domes. It helps give it more stability and then you have a yummy salty sweet treat to snack on other than too much plain chocolate!

It looks like you were taking some frustration out on that poor little heart LOL so we’re making one of these to give to someone how would you seal the hearts together? Would you add a small tiny layer of white chocolate and press it down or would you melt it down a little bit and then stick it on top? Thank you and you’re funny btw and I love conversation hearts 🥰 ❤️

    • @SugarGeekShow
      @SugarGeekShow  Před 2 lety +1

      Not quite, tempering only applies to chocolate that has cocoa butter in it. If you haven’t seen them yet, I go over the difference between the chocolates in my
      Hot Chocolate bombs video:

    When I attempt to make the top and the bottom they do not line up, probably a 1/2 inch gap. Did you use the same mold for the top and the bottom or two molds? I used two molds. I am familiar with making cocoa bombs and assumed it would be the same process but when the hearts didn't line up I was baffled. Any advise?

    • @SugarGeekShow
      @SugarGeekShow  Před 2 lety +1

      Oh no! Yes I use 2 separate molds, but they game together in a kit so I’m positive they’re the same size. My only guess is that the chocolate is shrinking away from the edges, so just take extra care with building up the edges so they’re nice and strong.
