I live in Canada and I love all the Royal family. William will make a great king. I think his wife Kate is supportive of her handsome husband. The queen is still a beautiful lady. Prince Harry has beautiful children and I love him too.

I am in fact NOT an American, I am a Canadian.
I grew up singing, 'God Save The Queen' everyday during my elementary school days, a portrait of our Queen in each classroom, learning the history of the monarchy and its role within Canada.
I fully understand succession and all its intricacies, that it is most certainly not a "Popularity contest". My point was not that succession be bypassed in favor of who some would prefer be on the throne, but rather the debate within the public. A debate that while mentioned for some time, came to the forefront in Canada at least, when issues surrounding the King and Queen Consorts relationship were revealed.
I fully understand that King Charles is exactly where succession would have him, that while we will enjoy the cornation in May, those of us old enough, will remember the beloved Queen we grew up with, and who will be sorely missed.
As for the remainder of your comment, obviously it is a moot point, as my country is not lead by a president, but in fact a Prime Minister, as in Justin Trudeau.

His tutelage and guidance came from the Queen and Charles.
The Queen did that. He went to see her every day after school for tuition on what he needed to know about becoming a King. Diana may have given birth to him, but she did'nt train him, she knew nothing about how to go about it, found it very boring and just wanted to have fun, going to theme parks, she was'nt interested in the important matters they come with King in Waiting. Spent time at fun parks or with endless procession of boyfriends. Harry lied when he said his mother confessed all to him, it was William's shoulders she lay her burden on,she said that Harry was too immature and stupid and a blabber mouth, the whole world would have known her private business. The trash Harry married put that rumour in his head and to see her as his mother, that is sick in the head incentrous tripe to put in the head of someone battling mental illness as a result of his guilt of refusing to speak to his mother on the phone before she died. William and Kate are the most down to earth couple. They both do a good job and are very good parents. They have such beautiful kids. We can't say the same of Harry and the kind of wife he chose.
