- Picture-in-picture editing allows editors to overlay one or more videos on top of each other - helping you showcase multiple perspectives simultaneously. In this video, Caroline shows you how to achieve this look in LumaFusion and offers case studies on why you might seek this technique on your next edit.

I love these tutorials
Me too
Nice love this idea. Definitely gonna use it!
Any idea why my current video I’m editing audio is off/delayed from video in some areas? Never experienced this in the app.
Without knowing more about your project I couldn't give a reliable guess, but please get ahold of our Support team and we'll gladly get you some 1:1 support to figure out what's up: lumatouch.co/support (tap 'email Support').
Great 👍🏾 so happy with info 🎉
Glad it was helpful!
Would be nice if there were adjustable frames to box in the pip. But I know we can make the…
The frames are adjustable. Set the PiP from the preset, then you can size it either by touching on the screen and moving the handles, or by adjusting the slider and numeric settings in the control stack. Then if you find a setup you like, you can save that as a preset for future use.
Hi Caroline
Thank you very much for your great videos. I’ve watched many of your tutorials to help me figure out how to create my own. Currently, I am working on a video for the California Auto Museum where one of their members who has a car on display and is talking about the history of her car, which has been in the same family. Linda who is the owner of the car explains different events and Introduces some movie stars who have owned a car similar to hers. To tell the story I’ve had to display different graphics and photographs on the screen as she tells the story. If you are interested, I can send you a CZcams link when I finish the video. Thank you again for your great videos Pat Hogarty from El Dorado Hills, California.
Hey Pat! Caroline here - sounds like a cool video and interesting story. Please feel free to share the link with us when you’ve published it!
Will you guys have AI support? I would love to use Autopod for Adobe premiere to use for editing podcasts
At present it is not possible in iOS to use plug-ins like can be done in the desktop environment. We have a deep commitment to user privacy, and this is informing our approach to any future AI integrations-so it is unlikely you will see any AI features in LumaFusion that rely on connection to off-device AI's. That said, we are exploring options for device-based AI solutions in LumaFusion.
How do I create a frame around the overlay picture?
I would add an overlay text layer, delete the text, then add a shape--choose a rectangle from the presets and adjust color, size and thickness in the control stack. For more info on how to do this check out This bit from our Reference Guide: lumatouch.clickhelp.co/articles/lumafusion-reference-guide-publication/style-and-title-presets (Scroll down to "Adding a Text, Shape, or Image Layer")
WHEN can we expect to be able to move keyframes [or] copy/paste (duplicate) their attributes? (a temporary workaround): Gets "old" hearing it's "in the works" year after year!
PS: Solid editing tool for iPad, but this is a SIGNIFICANT weakness!
Soon. (Was going to type 'it's in the works', but it gets old. We get it.) Thanks for the feedback.
Nice, can I put two pictures in picture? One on each side or top and bottom?
Yes--it just requires placing the image on another layer and following the same procedures. Contact our support team if you have any questions about this: lumatouch.co/support (tap 'email Support').
@@LumaTouch, Thanks 🙏
