    Hi. Discovered this alt method you might like - goto start of 2nd clip. Dbl tap (clip = highlighted - hit pencil = edit). Cropping: set size of pic in pic. Now go to Blending - Set to 0%. Hit Key Frame +. Go back to Time Line. Decide end of fade up (clip still highlighted) - Hit pencil / edit. Go to Blending. Set at 100%. Auto Key Frame fade up done!! Go back to TL & Check: pic in pic now fades up. Set Fade Down - Decide start of Fade Down point near end of 2nd clip (Highlighted) - Hit Pencil / edit - hit Key frame +. Now go back to TL to the end of highlighted 2nd clip. Can expand TL to see last frame of (Highlighted) 2nd clip. Pencil / Edit. Go to Blending. Set to 0%. Auto Key Frame fade down done!!!! Enjoy your video!

    Have been binging on your videos to get things going. Have been playing with Luma, video making - moved everything on line (yoga studio).
    Still trying to get a good audio - for on demand - hit and miss - doable, want better . trying to record best quality, so not need to edit much - but sometimes am recording in cool places that do not have a great sound space :-(.
    learning, playing, swearing, than meditating :-), .... then repeat.

    Hey just purchased this app after watching your video and wanting to make a tribute video out of pictures only. However I can’t find a way to create a start and end position on a picture. I know it’s a basic feature on almost every video editing app and even iMovie has this feature but I’m new to lumafusion and can’t find a way of doing it. If you can help, I’ll greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

    • @tammysypniewski1891
      @tammysypniewski1891  Před 3 lety

      Shadyonesenvy What do you mean? Like a transition? There’s preloaded transitions, just use the fade in and out on either side of the pics.

  • @toddhoward-pinellascountyr3356

    Hi Tammy, can you capture a picture within a video with Lumafusion? Love ur videos 🙃

    • @tammysypniewski1891
      @tammysypniewski1891  Před 4 lety

      Todd Howard - Realtor - Pinellas County, Florida You mean just add a pic to the screen? Yes, just add it as a layer over the main timeline, size it and crop if you want. Then go back to your layer and increase the length of the pic because they’re only brought in as 2 second clips, so just make it as long as you need. 👍

    Do you know if there is a way to animate the picture in picture so that it starts as a full screen image and slowly shrinks into the corner revealing the video underneath?

    • @tammysypniewski1891
      @tammysypniewski1891  Před 3 lety +1

      Yes, just key frame the shrinking. If you don't get it I'll add it to my to do list.

    • @AV8R_1
      @AV8R_1 Před 3 lety

      Tammy Sypniewski thanks! I thought I found one transition that did it.. sort of. If you take a clip on your timeline, and add a cut, make the clip before the cut full screen and the clip after the cut PIP, then add the “Cross Zoom” slide transition between them, it sort of does the effect. Not exactly what I was looking for though, but close. Thanks again!

    Can you do the same but with 2 videos? If so can I have 1 Main video, 1 video inside of it and a picture inside of it? Im a Call of Duty gamer. So want to have my game as the main screen, with another vid of myself while playing the game on the button right corner, and a picture of the character I’m using on the top right corner.
