Love it! Do you have any solutions for adding subtitles? Currently I transcribe using Microsoft speech to text in a Google Doc, then I copy past into Lumafusion and spend about 301 hour or so editing text for a 10 minute video 😅
Not yet but we're working on an advanced subtitles feature that will save you a load of time. 👍
Great explanation, thanks! What still confuses me is that the objects that are at the top are below them in the layout panel i.e. 9:40, so the text is at the bottom as a layer, although it is above the shape. In Photoshop and other apps this is the other way around.
Hi there, thank you for the note. You might find it handy to use the Layer Order tool (next to the Clipboard on the top bar in the Text Editor) to sequence your layers--just select a layer, tap that tool, then send the layer backward, forward, or to the front of the stack, and let the order of the tabs in the Control Stack fall where they may. Happy editing!
Frankly speaking…… it is so difficult in Luma to add tittles when compared to other editors. Please add more default titles and stickers like VLLO & make it simple to type or edit titles. ❤

@@LumaTouch Please add a tally for me too! Nice that we now have multicam features, but frankly, being able to add more fancy and animated titles to Lumafusion, has a much higher priority for me!
Exactly my point too - this is also so difficult because in Luma Fusion THERE IS NO OPTIONS TO ANIMATE SHAPES - you can only sort of doing this by movind underlaying frame which is not as it should be done.
I am doing entire edit in luma both iPad as well as Macbook air last 3 yrs, every time I struggle with animated titles it took more time, almost all other editing apps coming with animated title and stickers but here I desperately waiting for this@@LumaTouch
Ok, great, can you show how to animate the individual elements in the title using key frames? Just the text for example?
We can put that on the list for future video tutorials but we may wait until our Advanced Keyframe feature releases. 👀
Seeing this I wanted to edit the title to have a rotating text, which is basically possible, but turns out to not be as expected. The keyframe animation used to rotate the text is applied to the entire layer the text is on and not just the text, so if the text isn‘t centered in the layer it wouldn‘t rotate around its own center point. I could find anything to redefine the center point of rotation. Is this intended or just a concept flaw? What‘s also annoying: when you add one of the default settings to Frame&Fit you can add Bottom Right PIP to one keyframe and Bottom Left PIP to another one so the text would move, but when you wanted to add Zoom In to a third key frame, it would completely overwrite all keyframes you had already placed.
Thanks for the comment. Right now, you can't adjust the center point but we'll be looking into adjusting that when we release Advanced Keyframing. Thank you for the note. We agree, and our engineers are working full time to bring the Android version into feature parity with the iOS version. It won't happen overnight, but we won't stop until we get there!
Great tips but I wish you guys would update your titles. They look a little out dated and flat.
More titles, transitions, and effects are all features we're discussing at the moment. We need to finish and deploy Multicam Studio before we can really dive in, but it's something we want to give a refresh. Thanks for the comment.
After paying for a paid video editing app Why should i have to miss free apps features
Why should i have to spend a hour on creating a 7 second letter by letter, clock,anti-clockwise etc animated text.
Why not just one click away like other free apps
And still after the years
Just tell me why"?
We don't have that effect yet but we're working on adding more title, effect, and transition upgrades in future updates.
