    Thank you,
    As life changes we often get caught up in so many tasks, that we forget to keep it simple to be creative or informative using the basics.

    LumaFusion’s ability to drag and drop new media onto a timeline clip and keep any timeline effects.is a huge huge benefit of the app. It makes using a template system like this so easy.

    Having used a “template” system like this for years I strongly recommend keeping a second copy of it as a backup. It is very easy to forget to duplicate the template before starting work and then you’ve lost your template for future use.

    I've been using LF for some time now (and love it!!) and what I do is simply rename my original project as "[PROJECT NAME - TEMPLATE]" so it's obvious which one is the original that I should be copying. Simple but very effective (for me)

    I did not notice if you were introducing a new feature within luma fusion named “templates” or simply offering a best practice. I have been saving my projects to swap out old episode parts with new ones in the way you described for almost two years. But if there is an actual new feature called templates that makes this process easier, I can’t wait to test it out.

      Hi Erwin! LumaFusion doesn’t have a Templates feature as such, in this episode I talk about the process of creating a timeline that can be duplicated and used as a template - just as you mentioned! It’s a useful thing to do for sure - and I hope this episode can add to your workflow in some way :) Caroline

    Do you plan on making a version of LumaFusion for Mac 💻 🖥️? Thanks.

      Hey there, thank you for the note. LumaFusion is designed as a 'mobile first' app. It works pretty darn well on Macs equipped with Apple silicon processors, but we are unlikely to create a standalone desktop version anytime soon.

    Hi! Could I please ask because I don’t understand - are the blocks you have in there as placeholders just stock footage? Or blank clips? how do you ensure the new clip you’re inserting takes on the qualities of the asset already there - is that a magnetic timeline thing? do you need magnetic timeline on or off for this to work? Thank you!

    • @LumaTouch
      @LumaTouch  Před 22 dny

      Hello, thank you for the question. The blocks you see are actual footage, but for the purposes of the 'template' use, they're just dummies. The 'Replace Clip' operation will take place anytime you drag a clip from a Library onto a clip that's on the Timeline. As you drag it onto the clip (you might have to scoot it around a little), a yellow rectangle will pop up around the existing clip.
      Now you can drop the new clip and it will take on the attributes of the clip it replaced. You'll see a little pop-up asking which duration you'd like to keep--Timeline or new clip. You can see this at 2.57 in this video: czcams.com/video/VimxnFthIcg/video.htmlsi=SBBdV4ENRImjTn2m&t=177
      This happens regardless whether you're in Insert ('magnetic') or Overwrite mode. If you have further questions about this operation, feel free to reach out to our Support team: lumatouch.co/support (tap 'email Support'). Happy Editing!

    Ma'am when will noise reduction method Appeared in lumafusion android ?

    • @LumaTouch
      @LumaTouch  Před 4 měsíci

      I don't have a timeline on this. At present the feature in the iOS version relies on capabilities in the Apple devices that's not yet present in the Android platform. We are optimistic we'll get the feature implemented in our Android version at some future date, and until then, sorry for the inconvenience. Thanks for watching!
