The Trans America Trail in detail, Day 9, (TN, MS)

Follow along as we re-make our 2021 Trans America Trail video series. Each day we will have new footage of our trip as we make our way across America on our Honda CRF 450L and 450RL dual sport motorcycles.
Day 9 starts in Monteagle, Tennessee and finishes in Batesville Mississippi. We try to make up some time and skip a few sections of the TAT in favor of open two and four lane highways and cover 326 miles. The section of the TAT around Pickwick Dam was a lot of fun, but the trail ended and we had to backtrack to find the route.
The Honda is starting fine now and running great. It looks like the starter reduction gear fixed the problem.
Tomorrow we will cross over into Arkansas and should get into the Ozarks.
