Made with AngeTheGreat's Engine Simulator.
That 7 cylinder idle sounds great
It sounds damn ethereal.
Your CPU is something else
Lol probably a server CPU
Or 20,000 regular ones
Its actually not too bad to run.
@@CryoiX Old server CPU's are actually ridiculously cheap if you can manage to find them
@@CryoiX engine sim need sigle core performance, server cpu are multi core performance, he probably have a i9
This has to be the first time anyone's ever made a video of all these engines together. Or at all! This is awesome dude
Thanks man! I thought it would be cool to compare them all together 1 cylinder at a time to see how it affected the sound.
The straight 8 sounds EXACTLY like a NASCAR V8
Best sounding ones in my opinion were the 17, 16, and the great Inline 13
Yeah nascar uses flatplane v8's, not the drive-in/drag strip crossplane rumblers.
@@mikem9536yeah doesn't the inline 8 use crossplane crankshaft?
@@cat_with_sunglass It always does, as far as I know. I had to do a bit of tinkering in-game to make a flatplane inline-8 (it runs rather decent).
Wow an Inline 17 sounds like a more rough honda civic i like it 😊
Haha that would sure be some civic
How do you think a W17 would sound
2 banks of 6 and 1 bank of 5 in the middle
I think the Inline-12, even when it doesn't make any sense, is my favourite.
it makes perfect sense since it's two 6 cylinders so double perfect balanced. it's a pity the inline 16 was crossplane as it sounds rough as a result. it should have been smooth like the i12
I10 sounds exquisite....
10 was great
sound similarity.
Inline 14 is TVR Cerbera V8
Inline 9 is Mercedes CLK-GTR
Inline 18 is Formula 2
Inline 13 is NASCAR
Inline 17 is VR38DETT
Inline 10 is Porsche Carrera GT
Inline 7 is Ferrari 333SF
the inline 10 sounds far prettier than any V10 in my opinion. but i agree; if there's any one engine it sounds like, that's probably it.
Wow what an incredible video, well done mate!!
You’re really good at pushing the limitations of the simulator and going past them and still somehow making it work. I love these crazy builds. Never seen anyone push this quite like this. I can’t image how long it takes to set up all this. Definitely subbed. Also I have a suggestion apologies if its been said before but you should try and recreate Bugatti’s W16 from the Chiron 300+ as accurately as possible. Overall love the content and can’t wait to see what’s next
Thanks! I'm glad you like my engines :) Making it all work is part of the fun. That and hearing these strange engines for the first time haha
There’s a nice rawness to the sound of the odd-numbered straights. 17 was particularly nice.
Great video, love the 7, 8 and 9 cyl.
6:54 that inline-15 sounded like a v10 Dodge Viper ACR in roblox car crushers 2
Inline 15 sounds gnarly 👀
Gnarly, dude!!!
@@Entity_BlackRed777 Yeah
@@InfamousAMH GNARLY DUDE, AGAIN!!!!
@@Entity_BlackRed777 Gnargly blud
AWESOME!!! You did it all in one as well!!!! Was not expecting this as well!!!! I am SO happy now!!!!! My favorite engine is the 19CYL, since it sounds like a combination of them all!!!! (But most strongly a 6CYL sound since not sure exactly.) Anyways, I am gonna be out for a while of CZcams since of work and stuff, so GOOD LUCK, bro, and have a GREAT Summer!!!!! Until this Fall!!!!
Glad you liked it! It was a ton of work haha have a good summer bro!
@@icemanv93 Thanks!!!!
@@icemanv93 I am back!! Just to comment, since video posting will do by 2025 or so!!!
Hot damn! I especially like the inline 17 when it's off the throttle. Very satisfying rumble. The 15 and 16 are second and third place for me, respectively.
Do you reckon you could rework these to 2004 F1 spec?
Glad you liked them! They definitely have very interesting exhaust notes in that cylinder range. F1 versions did cross my mind
Сool review of engine simulation 👍
Some thoughts.
> All odd number cylinder configurations sounded instantly gorgeous!
> 7-cylinder and 9-cylinder ones sound very much like airplane radial 7 and radial 9. The firing intervals are the same.
> 10-cylinder sounds meh at idle and fabulous at revs. Very much as a V10. (Although it's not a V, but rather an inline one, however the firing intervals are the same.)
> Inline 12 is very much V12-ish. Again the firing intervals are the same.
>Inline 14 reminded me of radial 14 that I heard on air shows. But it didn't sound the same as the radial 14 from this channel:
czcams.com/video/5Z55nH-gbqE/video.html
> The 16-cylinder reminds of a Bugatti Veyron/Chiron.
> All even number of cylinders that consist of two sets of odd number sounds very attractive here. Never noticed that with a 6-cylinder (3+3), but did notice that with a 10-cylinder (5+5)-these two are the only options we have in automotive world. Radial 14 (two radial 7s essentially) is another option, but good luck finding one revving :)
This channel is awesome!
_No, I got an Inline 19, I can’t go further into the parking space, you gotta drive around_
I like the sound of the 16 cylinder at idle.
A trend I noticed is how at lowe rpm the higher cylinder engines didn't make their peak power until higher and higher rpm.
Gonna use that 6/4 beat from the inline 12 in a song...
I7 sounds amazing
I9 as well
I16 aswell
I17 aswell
7:34 Now The v8 Are Envy As Hell, This Sounds Way Better Than a V8 Or Even a V16.
9 cylinder is amazing
hi iceman!! could u pls make a tutorial on how to make an engine?? maybe a 1 cilinder, just the most basic concepts! plsss
can you upload these to engine sim parts?
The torque and horsepower graph goes very limp after the inline 16, they either need a good tune or a turbo thrown on to have the biggest lag in the world lol
14 cylinder was good, lot of power too lmao
The only way to make a functional I7 for a car is with an odd fire though. Even fire would rattle itself to pieces
I9 sounds mad good. or the I10 sounds even better. sounds like a V10 but different
Inline 10 sounds like a motorcycle that will absolutely kill you
Inline 16 sounds like BRM V16 race car
Or just better in general asides from speed?
the crank oh no
Oh no!
Our crankshaft!
It’s broken!
Oh no!! Our@@PeriapsisStudios2000!! It's broken!!!
Ferrari’s next GT car should have an inline 19.
Am I the only one that noticed odd number inline engine run faster ?
The inline 18 sounds like a beamng i6 at high rpm
or RB26DETT
Why do these all sound so bad with breaks engaged?
What happens to crankshaft…
Made of vibranium don't worry about it 😂
@@wiegraf9009 ok…
That Inline 10 sounds mean
Most engines rev to 6000 rpm. So interesting for most real world relevance would be 500-6000 rpm under load.
There are engines that rev much higher than that by the way. The V12 in the Valkyrie for instance, which can rev up to 11.5k rpm
@@TheSilverShadow17 Keywords were "most" and "real world relevance".
@@TheSilverShadow17
We'll take it once more then. Until you learn to read.
"Keywords were "most" and "real world relevance"."
@@martinsv9183 Engine sim isn't dependent on real world relevance, it's a game meant to break away from realism.
@@TheSilverShadow17 Yes it is, if its going to be a sim. If you want to simulate something the whole point is for it to be related to reality as much as possible.
The title was how different engines sounds. The most relevant is then to run it at the speeds those engines would be run at.
if electric cars could process an engine sound like this software, I'd have one reason less to not buy them :D
someone probably could write a code to have a computer generate the sound, based on acceleration, "gears" (i.e. how many gears the program uses), and vehicle speed, and push the sound through an exterior speaker (possibly interior speakers as well)
especially if you can change the engine the sim uses.
@@Reverend_SalemI mean there's a video out there from the creator himself stating that a company that builds electric dirt bikes is in fact using Engine Sim as the core component of sound generation. Albeit an older version at that since there were software limitations involved.
I love the 9cyl sound
Some of these examples should be able to have multiple cylinders igniting at the same time to produce more hp. And a correct firing order and a more efficient crankshaft
Inline 7 sound good
Inline 8 nice idle sound and high rpm sounding
Inline 9 cool, sound like my favourite inline 14
Inline 10 not bad, too high sound
Inline 11 kinda Lamborghini v10?
Inline 12 very interesting and good
Inline 13 Reminds me something...
Inline 14 man i love it, it's amazing
Inline 15 good one
Inline 16 it's perfect
Inline 17 pretty nice
Inline 18 nice idle
Inline 19 good sound on high rpm, and i like down acceleration
Yes i made a big comment XD
Just given a simple rating all of engines :)
The 14 is my favorite as well :)
@@icemanv93 sure, i think it's the best:3
The 14 does have one of the best sound notes of most of the engines.
@@Super-225 sure
Inline 17 is my favorite one because simply put the number 17 is my personal lucky/favorite number lol
