I need a Dirt road Cred X Trail Recon collaboration vid lol
Ocala NF is one of the few nice places to ride on in Florida. Nothing as challenging as some the trails in mountain areas, but the mud and sugar sand can be a challenge in the some areas. Be careful using a drone in the area, there are numerous restrictions due to the bombing range and wilderness areas. Large sections of the forest are restricted.
Nowhere near The Everglades, but still a great trail to explore. Next time you’re down, hit me up and I’ll see if I can set up a guided ride. I know a guy who knows the place like the back of his hand.
Awesome!
Thanks for taking us along guys!! What a beautiful place.
Nice job on the voiceovers Ryan! My wife and I have been through Ocala a few different times, and it sounds like you guys had about the same experience we did (mostly flat, sandy, and way too many branches screwing up your paint job). Trust me, you have it way better up north!
ONF isn’t challenging, however in the wet season it can go from dusty and flat to impassable. In the “lower” altitudes (lower being a relative term since y’all are from PA), when the ground gets saturated, it can actually flow like a river. Nothing near whitewater of course, but there’s a strong current.
The higher area (north end of the Tread Lightly trail), the trails open up more.
There’s a Navy bombing range out there as well. The range itself is fenced off of course, but when it’s hot you can’t get near it.
ONF is home to the highest population of bears in FL. There’s also bobcats, deer, foxes, coyotes and a wide variety of snakes and other critters. Then of course there’s the bugs. We’ve got prehistoric bugs here.
The big thing to remember is to stay on the right trail. There are trails intended for horses, off highway vehicles (side by sides, ATV’s…anything that can’t be registered) as well as hiking. If you get caught on the wrong trail, it’s a big fine. Going off trail is a HUGE fine. And don’t even THINK of parking in any of the bodies of water.
My Dad lives in Tavares , Mount Dora area. I’ve been through the Ocala National forest ,nice area. Silver Springs is another must see
I'm glad you two had a great time 👍 congrats Ryan
I’ve been following your channel months before I got my own Jeep because I’ve been dreaming to own a Wrangler since I was a kid and now that I owned one(a 2024 Sahara) I want to try it offroad idc if it’s a Sahara lol
I loved and enjoys your videos because it’s AWESOME and very HELPFUL to those Jeep Wangler owners who’s new to the community just like me😄
Enjoying watching your contents here in Ontario! Anyways…Maaaaaaan, I need a DIRT ROAD CRED stickers😅
I was just camping in Ocala National Forest the first week of April. There are several rustic Federal camp areas for $10 a night, as well as dispersed camping. You have to store your stuff to be ready for bears at night. They will come in your campsite while you sleep.
You do some amazing camera, drone, cut in & out shots! Love it Ryan ❤ plz keep doing what you n Matt do. Just awesome watching the area, drive and chill...
Great shots and drone footage! Loved watching you guys get out there and mess around with your rigs. Cool place to take your Jeeps. Look forward to more trails.
Sooo Ocala NF is near the Everglades now. I guess that makes sense because I’m going to Tennessee next month to see the Grand Canyon.
Welcome to Florida! Gorgeous terrain and area #Godmakescoolstuff Awesome video! My wife is born and raised in Ocala. Glad we saw you guys on the beach!
I got my surgical ICU team watching you guys at work!
Don't tell our boss...
Awesome fun, guys. Great drone footage. We love your content...🎉🤙👍
You are awesome! Thanks Cliff
WOW Guys love the footage and esp the drone shots!! love watching your videos. Thank you
Thanks for watching!
If you’re a bit further south, try Jane’s Scenic Drive in the Fakahatchee. Depending on the time of year, make sure your axle vents are high and tight - hint hint.
Join us Luke
I actually had the same exact 1987 Loredo! It was actually a really cool looking brown color. That was my first Jeep.
Pin stripe central! Was a fun set of trails though and a short drive from Orlando
You need to hit up Midland radio and get your GMRS mobile radios . It would make for a good install video
First badge, very nice.
Great video but next time you’re in Florida and want a bit more excitement head over to Croom near Brooksville on West Coast. Still lots of sand but more mud and obstacles
Plan a trip down my way to venture into the Daniel Boone Backcountry Byway and I’ll set up a guided tour for us. All the challenges you could want here. From scenic slightly challenging trails to trails that will beat you up and spit you out.
Awesome video!!!! I live through you guys!!!
Awesome! Thank you!
Very cool. Now you've given me a reason to want to go take a vacation in Florida.
not to hard to find your way there - Hwy 40 runs right by it - most people use 40 as a cut over from I75 to get to Daytona!!
What a cool place to take the Jeep! Nice video- love the drone shots❤. Cool badge 😊
Really close must now mean 4 hours away.
Hit up PCB Jeep Week - great activities, sand trails/dunes; vendors and most beautiful beaches anywhere!
Always a great time and people there!
Hey guys. Hit us up Ocala Jeep club member here. I’m sure there are some
Members that can show you some great spots in the forest. Love and much respect 🫡 hopefully see ya next year at Jeep Beach 👍🏻
That would be awesome!
Thanks for sharing‼️
Enjoy Moab if you get out there🎉
Those are cool looking jeeps
Appreciate it
11:41 The BOH trail in Ocala can’t compare to most other badge trails.
Very cool vid. Thank guys!
Thanks for watching
2026 2 door 392 👀
Another great video guys! Ryan, you are finding your feet as a commentator and sounding smooth. 👍
How do the badges work? How do you get them. Is the trip logged some how?
Thanks Jason! I’ll tag a link on this comment once we do a “how to get trail badges” short we are shooting today.
@DIRTROADCRED Thanks, sir.

Welcome to my state. I love off roading in my state
I have been to your Chanel lately. Did you get rid of you other Jeep and got the 392?
I love Ocala. Did you do the BoH trails?
you are over 200 miles + from the Everglades
👍
How much trouble is it to pull your top off? I have a hardtop also I have half doors.
Two person job
What is the interior screen do you have there in the dash?
Factory 2024 screen
Get any Florida pinstripes?
Absolutely
What brand of radio are you using?
Um. Did ya'll not see this question? I was hoping to get an answer. I am trying to figure out what are the best radios to use out on a trail.
Been there a few times. Once to test out a new suspension setup and of course Jeep Badge of Honor. Pinstripes! Nice meeting you at Jeep Beach. Hope to see you on the trails, soon.
Does that map system work with Android phones also?
Yes
First comment
that bikini pearl is so nice.. wish I could see the velocity yellow in the sun like that it would pop.
Is Ryan your brother? lol sorry
From another mother
Love ocala, it's really super easy tho, except for the pinstriping.
Last time we saw 7 bears, a few were momma's with babies.
I take it ya'll didnt get to the naval bombing range near big scrub?
Definitely a lot of fun, super tight
