Epic Rubicon Trail Adventure! Solid axle swapped S10 Rocklander Build tested

- Join myself and @DirtLifestyle as we do the famous Rubicon Trail and then the Fordyce trail. This was an epic adventure and the first real test of the Straight axle swapped Chevrolet S10 as a real rock crawler. I have to say it passed the test with flying colors!! Thanks to Bobby from Red or Dead Fabrication & Design and his rad Toyota for letting us tag along on their trip, it was a great time.

Good call on the bypass. No sense tearing up a new build especially since you don't fully know the rig just yet and how it will react and it's tipping points and what not.

We camped at Buck island and I can also attest to the bears. We camped where you did and put our food in a yeti with locks on the hill on the other side of the trail. The bear tried to get into it as well as a bear proof container within success.

Great vide! I just did the Rubicon trail for the firt time this year during hurricane Hillary in my XJ. I cant wait to do it again with better weather. We did have a bear get into our trash on our trasharoo but thankfully nothing else was lost.

I cant wait to start building my 04 S10. It's all your fault, I saw your videos and went out and bought me one. Gotta rebuild the 4.3, but the price of the truck was right because of it.

Not at the moment. The 4.3 just works. Definitely under powered but it’s a solid engine I can get parts anywhere.
