    190k here and not a problem just basic maintenance. Replacing wheel bearings this weekend. This car has been the most reliable car I've ever owned. Hope to push it past 300k

    New g37 owner here...wheel bearings is just another oil change for other cars like Chevy sedans no kidding lol. I'm a LSX guy but i can admit Chevy,dodge and ford make their sedan suspension parts out of play doe or Legos. At 70k my Pontiac G8 needed suspension rebuild and my 2014 charger RT new upper control arms and my latest Chevrolet Caprice PPV needed a full front suspension rebuild plus wheel bearings and new shocks and struts.... and that's just suspension they're were other headaches to deal with.. this is my first non GM or domestic vehicle and i must say for a 9 year old car I'm blown away with quality. I'm hoping this car doesn't give the headaches of the past at some point it's too much to deal with..

      @@sadiqabdul90 sorry that this is late and you probably either fixed it or destroyed your bearing, but yes, with the AWD G37 the front bearings are different than the RWD one's, so if you're somehow still in need of that, definitely make sure to get the AWD specific bearing. On websites it also lists the passenger and driver side as separate items, so I'm not sure if those are interchangable. But you definitely need an AWD bearing

    My got changed and now the G drives much better. However, it's like the bearing hub now makes like grinding sound. Almost as if though the internal of the hub needs oil for the bearings themselves. Thoughts?

    • @jessetovar100
      @jessetovar100 Před rokem +1

      Found the issue. So the mechanic who changed out my wheel bearings earlier this year must have put the bearing dust cover/plate on backwards. Hence the grinding on the rotor. Once I flipped them, the grinding sound was gone!

The driver's Cat Converter rattles on the inside and bugs me so I bought a replacement. No , you have a hung up break caliper , check the temp of each wheel after driving , the hottest is the issue , they should all be about the same temp

      Thanks for the feedback , i liked this car so much i bought an 09 G37x , The journey is a different beast , its transmission is programmed for speed , the x is programed for soccer moms but still out runs 99% of encounters . I hate it when im tryna pass and people hit the gas on me to close my window . Thats not a problem in this car . it puts them to shame when it wakes up and cranks out 7,500 rpm which is 1500 rpm higher then 99% of traffic .
