They will delay you. It took the 28 days to release mine and I’m a real estate agent with no criminal record at all not even a driving ticket. Also have my ca ccw. Didn’t make it any faster.

I just bought this gun from Turner's Outdoorsman they have it on sale for $259.98 plus $21.71 tax total $289.69 can't wait to get it ill clean it before using it i saved this video thanks for the information 💯🫡
Great demonstration! I know I’m a little late on the video but I just purchased my first gun yesterday from turners outdoorsman, I know they clean it a bit before picking it up , would you recommend I clean it before heading down to the range ?
Yes, because you don't know how it was handled before you took possession of it. If they claim they cleaned it, you don't know what they used to clean and lube it. So I recommend cleaning every gun you get before you go to the range.
I prefer going in from the back too, even when cleaning my pistols. The exception's to this rule are my revolvers. I have the G2 of this pistol with the Bill Of Rights engraved on the upper (stock).
Just purchased this for my first firearm. Some people say the factory lubrication for the handgun is bad and to clean it right when you buy it. Would you recommend this as well?
This might sound like dumb question but what type of spray did you use I’m tryna inform myself the best I can and appreciate your video gonna come in handy when I get my fmk
It's coated with a preservative oil, not a lubricant. You clean it to remove the preservative oil and add gun lube. Not removing the oil first will cause more wear on the parts.
Has anyone swapped the guide rod with a Glock 19 stainless steel one I saw they’re interchangeable and nice upgrade over the plastic one there’s only one video and the guy doesn’t say much in his 2 min video
I have not tried swapping the guide rod with a Glock 19, but I am a fan of upgrading to a stainless steel guide rod. It will last a lot longer than the plastic. Which tends to warp.
Interesting how most of these people on these CZcams videos never disassemble the striker assembly for cleaning, I guess they don't think the striker assembly gets dirty and doesn't need to be cleaned and lightly oiled.
I don't recommend putting any oil on the striker or its channel. Just like cleaning a magazine, you don't want any dirt or debris to build up. The striker should be cleaned when you do the more thorough and deep cleaning. Which is only done once or twice a year, depending on how much you shoot.
Are you making a joke? Or trying to be offended? The next thing I said was, "Carbon is black, so all of the black needs to be gone." Carbon buildup is a very bad thing for a gun, and you want all of it removed.
It's all good. I didn't know which way you were going with it. Now I'm going to have to make shirts that say that. Just not sure what graphic to put with it.
Just got back be of these as my first firearm, and wasn’t sure on how to take it apart. Thank you so much!!! Got a new sub!
Glad it helped! Appreciate the sub!
Great video! This was my first time cleaning mine and this video was perfect. God bless and God bless America!✝️🇺🇸

Just bought that gun in CA yesterday. I will pick it up next sunday. I need to find some more magazines.
Be sure to clean it before you shoot it.
@@reverendguns great advice 👍

Just purchased this for my first firearm. Some people say the factory lubrication for the handgun is bad and to clean it right when you buy it. Would you recommend this as well?
The factory oil is a preservative for the metal parts. So yes, it needs to be clean and lubed with gun oil before you shoot it for the first time.
No, it will be fine. Just make sure to clean it thoroughly and put gun oil on it
This might sound like dumb question but what type of spray did you use I’m tryna inform myself the best I can and appreciate your video gonna come in handy when I get my fmk
I will be coming out with my own brand of solvent and oil soon
Great video thanks

Why some people complain about the FMK 9c1 G2 I think is a good gun
I'm really not sure. I didn't have any problems with it.
@@reverendguns that be the next gun I get soon
That's great! I just recently sold this one.
@@reverendguns what your next one
My next video?
What’s the reason for having to clean it before using it? I got mine today an went straight to the gun range gave me no problem.

Hate the extractor on it, way too long.
I agree

Pretty much anything but Winchester. I personally use the Remington UMC.
You never said what kind of cleaner you sprayed on all the parts.
I use Shooter Lube

This is a beginners guide. For some people, the removal of the striker is a little too involved. My video for the Walther CCP shows it.
I don't recommend putting any oil on the striker or its channel. Just like cleaning a magazine, you don't want any dirt or debris to build up. The striker should be cleaned when you do the more thorough and deep cleaning. Which is only done once or twice a year, depending on how much you shoot.
