- While in Houston for TX2K, I couldn't resist visiting a few IAA Salvage Auctions to hunt down Wrecked, Stolen and Flooded Supercars! From Swiss Cheesed Lamborghinis to 'clean' $350k Aston Martins to Ferraris and even Hellcats and Corvettes!
I found some hidden gems that we will DEFINITELY be bidding on along with some cars that are, well, not exactly gems...

I think the a pillar thing and console panel lift is to do with the key fob antenna for the keyless start as that is where they are often located. In the UK many theft happen outside the owners home with keyless start using a lap top and antenna booster. It picks up the key inside the house and boosts it to the car and off they go in 30 seconds. We keep our keys in special pouches but tin foil is the same or put your keys in the microwave at night

Or just install a kill switch. Won't stop them from breaking into the car and probably do damage trying to start it, but they won't take the car and ram it into someone else at 180 mph and ditch it as your problem.
The green Aston is crazy. I actually saw it driving around Austin a few months ago and it’s unbelievable that it was stolen.
Even more strange is the fact it was stolen from florida, must have just drove to Austin after they stole it for giggles 😃
Honestly if you don’t live in a good area and have no garage that Aston could’ve been stolen the first night they had it

I’m from Houston, raised in the Woodlands area but live in Katy now… I’m tired of seeing hellcat chargers acting like they can beat anything, but love when me or anyone else with a Ferrari is around… they don’t feel like reviving their engines and act a fool anymore lol 😆

I've never even driven an Aston Martin , but there has to be a good reason why one of them that originally sold for $300,000 sells for about 50 to $60,000 5 years later . Unlike most cars that cost too much these ones tend to lose their value really quick . That's why Tavarish has a number of them .
I totally agree and in general I think that applies to most “exotics” that skew luxury rather than performance, with maybe the exception of the high end rolls market.

PRO TIP:if you tie a string to ur phone put it on 0.5 and stsrt recording put it on 1 end of the car and drag it up under the car to the other end i do it all the time you can see everything!!!

high end after market satellite tracking anti theft pingers used to be often located behind the a pillar trim, thieves attack it soon as they get in.

On the gray Scat Pack in the parking lot with the hood tied down: they used an earlier model Hellcat hood on some of the newer Scat Pack models. I have a 2023 Challenger T/A 392 manual and it has the Mopar Performance cold air hood on it from the factory. It looks like the Hellcat hood that you have there minus the vents.

Hey bud pretty hooked on your videos I have to say, that at times I have skip parts or pause it. Your constant spinning around while you are narrating and panning back and forth between yourself and the subject almost gives me vertigo. Not a hater man, you have awesome content and your insights on breaking down a parts car and selling are awesome. I havent seen that on another channel!
I appreciate feedback good and bad! Some of the channels I watch often are like that, so that’s probably where the style comes from. Not to mention I tend to pace around while talking on camera.

Looks like you need to trailer a golf cart to these lots. We have one for our land and it saves hours of back and forth for the month.
If I'm not mistaken the hellcats the reason for the plastic taking off on the a pillars access to wires for the GPS tracking device

That thing you were holding in the ss was the auxiliary fuel system. Comes on at a certain boost level to active another fuel pump. Also the servo sound was the water pump for the supercharger

Im pretty sure they disable the tracker in the A pillars but im not 100% on that as it's just what I've heard on the grape vine
The ls400 toyotas are great all around. They do fix up pretty cheap, main things that rust up are the suspension components and the antenna bracket. Everything else is fairly typical of most cars, like the bottoms/edges of the doors, wheel wells, and underbody. Great cars, definitely a daily. Flipping specifically ls's i'd keep in mind Black interior goes for a-lot more, as in you may get 2k extra ontop of what you'd typically get just because of a black interior, even on a car that didn't originally come with it.
Definitely a cool video, it is always neat to see what kind of awesome stuff is lying in the junk yard. One issue though, I'm concerned you guys are not being honest. What I mean is, Hellcat sure no problem, c6Z blown and spraying, yeah I believe it the R8 is fast, but the Lexus?!?, not today. That's some deep fake shit, I'm going to break it down frame buy frame like a 300mph top speed run, compare roadsigns with Google maps.
Only thing I can come up with is he may have been down on compression?

U got me wanting to salvage a car and rebuild it myself but I have no where to store it to get it fixed and I don’t want to leave in a shop

At 27:10 it looks like the water was half way up the blower pulley, you can see the water line. So the water must have been 3’ deep

9:57 that would be a tracking chip for the original lien holder(the bank, finance company etc) so if somebody didn't make their payment the car can be shut off.

How they steal them is by amplifying the key fob signal, so I am guessing the key fob signal wires are in the A Pilers and all they need yo do is steal your key fob signal and amplify it next to the car. We deal with a lot of theft recovery and they all have popped A Pillar.
But I jus got blessed with lotto winnings and I'll buy new now ! Not too remake anything now !
