- I had the itch to buy a few wrecked Dodge Hellcats & Scat Packs so I hit the local IAA Salvage Auction to see what they had for us! Luckily we found some GOOD ones! From absolutely destroyed and unfixable Challengers to Charger Hellcats that look BRAND NEW, this lot had it all! Even a stolen (but in oddly good shape) Jeep Cherokee Trackhawk!

I worked for this place I seen many cool cars and everything. You can open the doors with the tape. I see people do it all the time at my lot. We just go threw and re tape them after preview hours are over with. And plus some of the cars that are unknown very well be repos we dealt with a lot of them at my lot. And plus the flood vehicles suck and the Bios do as well. Great videos

Yard walks are probably my favorite video type from yall.
A lot of the cars, even if the key has a dead battery, have a place you can put the key to start it up. For example Toyota/Lexus is to the push button, Dodge is to the push button, Ford is in the cupholder or in the center console there is a slot, plus many other places for many other cars.

Yes, that Subaru had a 25-30 tree fall on it in North East Washington that sat on it for almost a month before the city could remove the tree! Glad no one was in it at the time. I recognized it as soon as you showed it.😂

Love the videos, haven't missed any yet.
They are monetarily totalled meaning cost to fix exceeds roughly 2/3rds the value of the car. Salvage cars used to pencil out, but not any more.
I wish you could post everyday I watch your video with a nice cup of coffee to kick start my afternoon good content love to see it

I absolutely love these! When you Americans crash a car, you do it properly! That silver one with no airbags……surely that means no-one was in it. At that point I cannot guess any more. The frame rails looked okay as well 😳

Genuine question, is there a reason to buy Auto Theft Recovery vehicles? I’ve been told that you can’t get vins for them if they’ve been removed. I have no idea though, would love some insight.

We get carven exhaust tips because they fill in the gaps in the diffuser better than the 3 in tips that come factory (carvens are 5 inch tips)

I read a post where a Chop Shop had up to 10 hellcats including some trackhawks that were stolen in an abandoned warehouse Cops raided warehouse and seized all stolen vehicles Insurance had already paid out
Chicago is notorious for that they steal these in like less than 5 secs after you park it and go your way 😆😆😆

🤣 salvage auction videos generally don’t get them, they are pretty easy to shoot, so I don’t get much outtake worthy stuff.
In the case of something funny happening, like say, get attacked by a bird or me busting my ass, it just goes in the main video lol

With Dodge selling all the these cars in kits now I do not see a reason to buy a wrecked one unless you can get it less and 15-20K.
Most if the kits need a 10-15k drive train to run anyway
Just FYI Trackhawks only come with a Red Key.
The track hawk that was completely wrapped in plastic had a biohazard sticker on it. I might had blood all over the interior

None of those would be worth the time to fix or the risk of serious hidden mechanical damage.
If you are capable of fixing one of these, you work in the business and would be better off earning the money fixing insurance pay jobs and saving to buy a good one for yourself.
I watched several of these walk around videos but I never see you bidding. That would be interesting to see.
I actually filmed a couple videos, they’re quite boring, if I get a day with a TON of cool cars maybe I’ll finally edit and post it!

@@scraplifegarage just looked at that trackhawk. It’s not ready for sale and a rough estimate for damages would be $10k-$12k plus rebuilding the title

Depends on the insurance verdict after they access the damage.

We never care about Brand New Crash. We drive TOYOTA AE86, AE111 and 2002 Highlander Daily. Sad Brand New 🤣, We save money for iPhone 14 Serie, MacBook, iWatch and iMac Pro. We live in house, Not live in a brand new. Cars are waste when they are very old.
Hellcats are cars for people that know nothing about cars but think they really need a cool car. I feel like if you're actually a car nerd, you would look at something besides a hellcat. Maybe I'm crazy
