Let me know in the comments which ones you want to see us buy!
Have a salvage auction Corvette rebuild story of your own? Bes sure to tell us!

The C7 gran sport would be my choice. I bought my 2014 C7 a year ago. I looked at a rebuilt insurance write off but they were asking the same as the one I bought and my insurance agent said they would insure it but hard to put a value on it after being wrttien off. Sad to see all those cars smashed up.

And if any, are there any well-known problems with the C5 or well-known problems I should look for when I’m looking and ready for getting one from PD?

    7-8 Corvettes at Copart
When I was in high school (late ’60) Corvettes were the car to own if you had the money; status and power. Jump 10 years ahead when I had money to buy a cars, Corvettes where nothing I wanted. Jump to current times and Corvette makes the mid-engine with a almost European Lamboesque look. I like looking at these mid engine ones but...would not buy one.
You make such good videos I will watch a few of these highlighting Vet and see how that goes. I have looked at all of your P-cars videos because I have owned a 1958 356-A Super (1968), SC (middle 80’s), and my current ’86 RestoMod-Outlaw (2019).
    - I love how you pick the car apart, looking for the linchpin that will say yes or no to the buy.
    - You were talking about frame damage, looks like your black/orange watch has frame damage on it’s face.
    - I liked how you summed it up buying damaged C-8’s, “Vet hits pole from the side about 40 m.p.h... scare off most buyers and then pull all that money out of the car.”

    - I love the idle “looping” of the engine. HOT cam??!! Aftermarket? I know the sound of a hot sounding cam but I don’t know anything about Vets. Beautiful sound whatever it might be.
    - Like most of the Vets I can’t pick one over the other as they all kind of look the same, like a swam of bees, which one is better. BUT this black C-8 (I only know the name because you said it) does have that smart mid-engine and love the exotic air scoops on the side; but still wouldn’t want a Vet.
So I enjoyed this video to get a better understanding of the Corvette brand. I will try another scrape yard video and see if I still have the interest to see another. I would like to see you put a wrecked one back together. I will go back to your play list and see what I can see.

both black c8s are base 1lt models. No heads up display and black speaker grills on doors are giveaways. $60k base msrp on those. Red c8 has gt2 seats, not comp seats, but the gt2 seats are generally more desirable over the comp seats since the comps are not as comfortable for most people. Stingray R package is just a sticker/emblem package. No performance upgrades. Unless you're getting smoking hot deal on any of the c8's, they won't be worth it.

I would have to go with the black manual. Then the white grand sport.

The C-7’s in my opinion have the SEXIEST ( other than 1963 split window ) & most bad ass rear end of them all ! With the back glass the Evolution was @ high water mark ! NO DOUBT!!

Great job in the audio video///I will go with the c8////all you got to do is replace the hood in the front end and that's it long as no back damage motor damage frame damage the car is good that will be my choice////especially when it has red interior ////put my money on that car!!!!👍💰💰💰

None of these new Corvettes have the beautiful curves of the old Corvettes (and no, I'm not talking about those 80s and 90s door wedges). A 2018 Z06 is beautiful.

If you do another, look for a older model like a classic car maybe?

Well it doesn't rain in texass, so the interior should stay fairly clean. I would buy the c5 and maybe the c6 that was hit in the rear is I have the money.

Black c8 with tape in the front. Third one. But they all are worthy to be fixed and resold to a new driver owner bro.

I’m quite surprised that apparently minor damaged C8 Corvette’s have been totaled. These cars bring such high premiums some going for Ferrari prices costing over 100k. Surely some can be repaired for well under their resale value?
