Tip: UltraSkin Fire Soft
Clear pad: Lexan
Glue: Loctite Gel
Lathe: Deluxe Cue Smith™ Cue Lathe
I think that the Ultra Skin Tips are very underrated!!!
They are a great performing tip for the price
I enjoy billiards
I believe this is my first time seeing you burnish the shaft to squeaky clean, it looks nice. But what kind of paste was used here? and does it affect the feel to that very end part when cueing?🤔
It's a polishing paste for the clear pad. It didn't feel too good on the shaft. It was kinda tacky. I ended up making it dull again 😆
Isn’t the 314 a wood shaft?
I wander. You have installed so many tips. Can you tell in your opinion what would be the best three tips on the market? And why?
nice question
😎😎😎😎
The Tiger Onyx and Tiger Sniper are great quality American made tips. You can't go wrong with that brand. If you want a firmer tip the tiger onyx is a good choice. If you want something softer I would go with the tiger sniper. For a more budget friendly tip, Ultra Skin tips are very consistent and perform great. They have many options in there lineup for every type of player.
Thanks for watching and the comment.
@@arsbilliards where are you located ? I am in Illinois … I would like to buy my own cue lathe and change my own tips … are you giving lessons ? I would like you to teach me how to do it right . Would that be an option ?
@@stefanciubotaru4611 I'm in Southern California, your first few tips will be rough but take your time. You'll get it 👍
A great cue lathe that I can't recommend enough is the Cue Smith. I wish you luck. Feel free to ask me questions on any of my videos 😃
@@arsbilliards thank you so much … I do have a few questions on how you do things. Like what grit and what order is your sand paper … and what is that pad in between the sand paper ? Do you use burnisher or just shaft wax instead … those kind of questions
can you sand a carbon fiber shaft? to make it more smoother
I wouldn't recommend you do it often but yes it's possible
That's the black paint shaft, isn't it?
yeah it seams to be a black painted fiberglass or graphite with a maple core
how do i get a chuck like that? im from EU
cue smith sells them
not in EU@@arsbilliards
sorry that's the only supplier I know of@@selmopt
