Nobody except you can read your mind. The meaning of your comment is unclear.
Nobody except yourself knows what you think is ugly. Taste is subjective. What roofing type are you picturing when you say 'ugliest roofing ever'? Are you speaking of the tile roof shown in the video, or steel panel roofing that I mentioned?
I have seen thousands of roofing materials in my life, more than most people since I work as an architectural draftsman. There are a small number of steel panel roofing designs that I would argue are among the best looking roofing material options that are available. When they are compared to other materials in all areas of concern, cost to purchase, cost to install, cost of supporting roof structure, fire resistance, toughness, and longevity, steel panels come out on top of the whole pile. Tile, and slate, are expensive, require stronger roof structures, and are prone to breaking when walked on. Asphalt shingles are cheap, but have a relatively short life, and they burn. Wood shingles and shakes are expensive to buy, but burn, and grow moss. Steel gets dimpled by heavy hail, but that's very rare if they are laid on a full deck. Painted steel panels also will eventually fade in color and given enough time, they'll even rust. But it takes many years for the paint to fade, and if you get a metallic coating, they will last 40 years before any change is noticed. And if you have a steel roof that's 100 years old and it shows the beginnings of rust, you can paint it and get years more use out of it. You can dig your feet in like a child who refuses to eat his peas, but there really are steel roofing panels that adults think are attractive. For instance, look at standing seam roofing. Many wealthy people select standing seam steel roofing for their expensive houses. Those owners like the looks of it and are willing to pay extra to get it. Standing seam is a premium product because it requires more on-site labor to install, but it is very reliable. But there are other steel panel patterns that are attractive, but which ones is a matter of taste.
