地震が来れば揺れるようにできています。
自分で揺れれ自分でジャンプして地震のショックを逃がします。

これ内部を見るとブレスがいっぱい入っていますね。筋交いが無いとは言えません。

I typically side with eminent domain when you're developing land for great use either with industrial, residential zones, highways, etc. This seems a bit excessive. You get a guy who clearly wants to hold onto his house and you decide "F it, let's build with it there anyway" which involves keeping said house within the brand new building. Then to annoy the guy they set a platform controlled by hydraulics under the house in hope that he gets fed up and relinquishes the house.
Then again that's dedication when they could just have easily torn it down while he wasn't looking. 5/5 video

Now THAT*S impressive. Alas, the great earthquakes in Japan caused mass deaths, I believe, less because of the houses falling down and more because of the consequent fires. Wood is resilient, but it burns. Today, when we don't use live fire for heating and cooking, it's much safer (and better for the environment of course, insulates better too).
