Hi you are actually not supposed to use gel food coloring on chocolate it makes the chocolate grainy and hard. That’s probably why they cracked, you’re only supposed to use oil :)
Yes I agree with it. Next time added 1/2 tsp of melted vegetable shortening and it didn't crack.
Thank you Shana for you clear instructions. Going to try some Easter cakesicles. ❤❤

How do you make the buttercream frosting for beginners
Tq sharing video fren
Very delicious food recipe
Looks delicious .Thanks
yummyy😋😋❤
Awesome video! Can i just use normal chocolate or cooking chocolate? How do I melt it without getting too thick? Do I use oil? Etc.
Thanks!!
Thank you. You have to use cooking chocolate for this. If it's too thick add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil or crisco shortening to thin out the chocolate. For easier melting, use candy melts or chocolate chips.
Wow yummy 😋😋
Do u not add another layer because they bumpy still ?
How did you get the chocolate liquidy?
I put it in the microwave for 10 seconds
Loved it 😍😍
Thank you 😍
👌👌👌super
If we add gel color to chocolate wont it become hard?
Same thing i thought. Shouldn’t you be using oil based color?
Depends on the type and the brand
of the chocolate and the gel colours. If you feel like yours will get hard with gel colour, use oil based. Or else you can use a little oil (vegetable oil or melted shortening preferably) to avoid it getting hard.
Nice idea
Looking so yummy 😋
It may be easier to dip the molded cake pop in melted chocolate.
Yes but that way you will need a lot of cake and this method gives you a good finishing
Are you using usual wilton gel color?
Hi, can we use cream cheese or buttercream frosting for cakesickles?
I think cream cheese would not suit for this. Buttercream is more suitable for this.
👍👍
Hiii mam
Can we make these one day in advance and how to store if we can make ?
Yes you can make a day in advance. Store them in room temperature in an airtight container. If the weather is humid, store in the refrigerator wrapping each with plastic wrap and put them in an airtight container.
Do u have to take the stick out or can you leave it in
If you are talking about taking the stick out after the first coating, then yes you must take it out. When you have to fill it with cake mixture it will be a hassle when the stick is there. Hope this helps.
@@shanaskitchen1808 thank you I appreciate the reply
Can you please share where you got your color powder.

Great video. Do you ever refrigerate your cake and decorate on the next day?
Can I just leave them on the table instead incase I don't have a fridge ?
Yes no problem. Unless you live in a very humid area.
My popsicle stick slid out easily; what did I do wrong?
