SCP-1104 is a species tentatively identified as a member of order Chelicerata.
When inhaled, larvae will adhere to nasal mucosa, where they excrete an array of H1 receptor antagonists that suppress both local inflammation and implantation of further larvae. Over a period of 6-8 months SCP 1104 will grow and extend appendages through the host's ethmoidal canals. Hosts generally remain unaware of the presence of SCP1104 , apart from persistent but non-specific headaches. On maturation, SCP-1104 will begin applying pressure to the host's optic nerves causing obstruction of the central visual field. This pressure is applied selectively when the host is not oriented toward the local gradient of atmospheric hydrogen sulfide, which SCP-1104 can detect through the host's inhalations. After an initial period of distress, the host will begin to prefer to face and travel in the directions where they do not experience visual disturbances, thus tracing the source of hydrogen sulfide. Upon reaching a zone of sufficient hydrogen sulfide concentration, SCP-1104 projects appendages into the host's prefrontal cortex, causing unconsciousness during which SCP-1104 exits the host via the ocular cavity. After leaving a host, SCP-1104 attempts to locate and enter the source of hydrogen sulfide, such as a lava tube or sewer pipe. SCP-1104's subterranean lifecycle has not been documented.

It's very believable, and nothing it does seems to be outside of what would be theoretically possible. Things aren't only classified as SCPs because of how "anomalous oo magic" they are, their classification is also dependant on the threat level, size, number of instances... etc.
I've read an SCP once where it was theorized to be anomalous but could potentially not be anomalous, yet is still classified as an SCP because of the possibility that it could be anomalous and/or its threat to society. Can't think of the number as of writing this though.
There's also one fairly more known and classic SCP that is just a radio wave that gets transmitted through unknown means at a certain frequency, that's not too anomalous either.

Maybe unpopular opinion but parasites are interesting and cool. I'm somewhat of a parasite nerd. More biology is parasitic than not. I don't see anything especially wrong with parasites, but I think people have a reflex to the idea of them living off them, especially when those things take away or affect a part of them.

    Lookout in humans:
1)The stunged vessels burst from inside with toxic pathogens.
2)Worming eyes of decadent glances that seek to catch the birds' attention.
3)Toxic paralyzing fungus from infested spores using diffusal, emission of release after the gradual or sudden decaying of the vessel.
4)Tongue acquatic louse that makes the speech incoherent or depraved(hold off your tongues and treat tongue with spices).
5)Worm larvae that infects the bloodstream and flux by decayed-filled intoxicated bites.
6)Guinea worms from infested waters that seek to consume nutrients and then to reproduce outside after taking parts of internal biology.
Those things are affecting people in subtle ways in the spiritual realm.

From what I've understand, in order for it to get out once it's involved fully, we just need to reach some sort of sewer or whatnot, and it'll come out of our optic nerve, and just flee?

This would definitely be a fear inducing scp to learn about.

Dr. Bob: "while the fish is none the wiser.."
Me: I know it's said that some of most fish don't have feelings or maybe a reduced capacity to feel pain when compared to say a mammal or whatever, but I'd still have to disagree. I think the fish is well aware that it's tongue was eating and replaced by a parasite, but at that point it needs the dang thing in order to swallow food properly and survive so what is it gonna do? Also it doesn't have digits to pull the thing out. Maybe a weird or insignificant thing to focus on but it just stood out to me. Idk? That's my two cents. Great video!

I have a deformation in my nose and throat apparently which I got from birth, and basically if I cough or sneeze too hard all this blood pours out of my nose and throat. It’s terrifying imagining a parasite being there and triggering the bleeding 24/7 so I’d shrivel up like a raisin
