The fact that we’re all headed there some day sends chills up my spine. Better make the most of life before that time comes.
Better accept Jesus as your personal savior before that time comes and it will be too late and you will end up in hell forever 😂 !
After 37 years of an abnormal existence, I fear that my time coming is the only way I'll ever feel sure about what the best of life is
What a tragic hindsight it will be.

The care and good work ethics these men are the reason this Cemetery looks so neat a meticulous. Thanks guys from all the families that you serve… Kudos
Very Professional and Dignified effort. Your community should be immensely proud of these workers
I sit on the cemetery committee in a small town I can promise you these guys take pride in what they do and they are very professional and respectful you don't find this in a lot of places great video

This was VERY nice! I wish all cemeteries took the care of our loved ones this seriously. I can also understand now after seeing this process how headstones can be replaced in the wrong areas as well as chipped or broken. If the movers/diggers are careless anything is possible. thanks for sharing this!!! I always wonder how /what the process was in digging a grave and refilling it with soil.
I worked for 4 years at a local cemetery. It was hard work, and not a lot of thanks given to the workers. These guys did a great job in the video.
This is one of the best grave digging team I have ever witnessed. While they were doing a good and precise job digging the grave they also protected the graves around the area from tire marks in the grass…… Kuddos Men wonderful job, I hope someone as caring as you cares for your families. 💐
I know myself or a coworker will always salute a veteran when we are done. For what the greatest generation and the Vietnam veterans did for us we own them something
This was so interesting to watch! They did an amazing job the whole process. Took special care of the area around them & the person who they were burying. Great job fellas!
That’s a whole lot nicer then what my parents got where I lived. That looks respectful.
Wow.. That's the first I've seen. Best burial ever! Almost like nobody had been buried afterwards..
My condolences to the family of the departed individual. Kudos to the staff that prepared the grave, they all did an excellent job. I hope they take care of their backs. I’ve had two back surgeries and seeing how much labor is put into this job, makes me nervous. Thank you for sharing this video.
Thank you. Very informative. I've never seen the sod put back on any grave I've seen in NYS. That's an excellent touch and makes it so nice to go back and not see just a mound of dirt knowing your loved one is under it all. Like the sod touch.
Thanks for posting this, I can see the staff here are professional and this was a nice presentation.
Really an education that most people have not had, thanks for sharing !
these guys are tops for their care of this burial and cemetery. nice professional work.
The crew in Keene do a lovely job. All the cemeteries look nice, during the virus, many in Keene have enjoyed walking in the cemeteries as they have wide paths (for social distancing) and not many cars to dodge! Very respectful people watching after all the cemeteries, we have some very OLD ones, and those of us that live in Keene are glad they are managing even the older ones and are so helpful.
They do a nice job by watching this the way it should be done at any cemeteries.
Very neat 👍🏻
Great video, shows the care and respect that should always be taken. 👍
Very professional
This is so damned depressing. The fact that we will all wind up dead is disheartening.
If you accept Jesus Christ as your personal savior you will live in heaven happily forever after you have died here on earth. So, death is not disheartening for christians 😊 it is just a transport to a happier place🎉
Excellent work and video!
This is a great video. Very informative
My dad was cremated but his remains were put in a small vault and buried. We each took a turn throwing the dirt in the hole. He is at a small peaceful cemetery in a quiet spot.
This is the most professional job I have ever seen. I saw one earlier and they were very amateur about it.
Well done! Where i live the dirt is left near the grave where when the burial is taking place each family member and friend takes a handful and drops it onto the casket as its been lowered and or until everyone is done then everyone leaves at once.
Thank you for this video
wow, what an awesome job.
I'm sure the tens of times these workers do this procedure , they do it with the same dedication and respect .
Your burial technique is better then most iv'e seen. Great Pro job. 👍
Great video. I like how they prepare our final resting place
Looks like y'all did it right .
.not many cemitaries woul go to this much trouble .good job .
Fantastic job. You’d never know there was grave there at all.👏🏻👏🏻
What a professional job 😊
At least they are respecting the caskets that go into the ground.
So thats how it's so Beautiful
Well done.
Pretty neat
Thank you for the video. It was very informative and educational. I often wondered about this process and I now have a clear understanding.
👍👍
Y'all do a fine job tho!
They did a great job. But that don't look like a "city cemetery" ? Looks too nice.
Keene is a small town. I dont know why they consider it a city but it's a very beautiful town and very nice people.
WOW THEY A BEAUTIFUL JOB VERY PROFESSIONAL .
My great grandparents are buried here
Eternal Slumber!
NICELY DONE. I have seen many graves with a large hump of dirt after burial. It really looks unprofessional.
That fresh hump of dirt is just the same earth that was removed and put back over the coffin. Since it is no longer compacted, like it was when it was underground, it creates a hump. It needs six months to settle and become flat again. If some of the earth was removed and not placed back, when the earth would settle, it would leave a large hole and not be flat. A foundation for a gravestone or foot stone can then be placed above or below the perimeter of the coffin area. Those are the regulations which I was told in New York City.
At my Dad's burial , once the casket was placed in the what it would had been a "vault" and the soil was placed over it , only but the close family was still at the burial site , and suddenly an old lady showed up yelling that the grave site belonged to her !! Right away the cemetery employees checked out her allegations by examining records and indeed my Dad had been buried in the wrong place . My Dad had to be reburied in the right plot . It seems that someone had taken notice of the mistake and informed the rightfull owner , which was the right thing to do . This happened for real on 1983 in Puerto Rico 🇵🇷.
My Fathe in law had to be dug up cause he was in the wrong grave ! Could be because grave makers were not used years ago.
Oh my
Let the machine do it’s thing, shovel is for finishing touches at the end of digging
How many funerals do you guys get a day/how many guys do you have? Where I work we get anywhere between 1 and 6 a day. This week it was 3-6 everyday with 7 guys. I like how you guys put the grass back. We don’t do that but I’m wondering if it’s because we’re busy or management just doesn’t wanna deal with it
🙏💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
Man I worked at 2 cemeteries and they were not well kept like this 😂😂
I seriously do this all day long
that is why vaults are used because the equipment might be over a grave while digging it
Why is a vault needed. I thought the coffin was just put in the ground.
@@tpfmike1976 the vault protects the ground so it doesn't sink, if you ever notice old cemeteries with old headstones how the ground is all uneven? Thats because they didn't start using vaults until the 50s or 60s.
lot of extra steps here I don't do being by myself for the whole procedure. I don't keep the sod.. You are replacing top soil. myself i jsut reseed.
also I use a sheet of plywood on each side of the grave to keep the extra mess off the grass
bro I live near keene nh how is this in my reccomended
Surprise they didnt seal the vault some states they have to seal vault concrete or adhesive they put dirt on top.
I work at a cemetery. Here there are both sealed or basic vaults, just depends what the family wishes to purchase. An unsealed vault is about as good, there's just not quite as much protection against water. It often depends on the spot of burial.
Is this the procedure for most of the country of United States? I understand that New Orleans does it different because of the soil there and swamps.
Why concrete? Doesn't putting the casket and a concrete box take a lot of space?
Some cemeteries dont use lowering devices and just place the coffin in the ground albeit almost drops them. When we buried both of my grandfathers they had no lowering devices.
🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
And we use ropes 2 lower the casket while they use and a vault and a lowering device👍🏼 even after with a pnumatic hammer for the ground respect🙏🏻
We do have mostly extensions around the stone n also lines not just here and there a grave but this is verry nicely done respect 4 the ppl who do it.
Wat also their job is 2 dig up and all wat comes with it its not easy to do if ur light headed.
They did not show compacting the dirt or sand around the vault?? We have very heavy clay soil at work and need to do a sand compaction around the vault before we backfill.
And this job is not as serene looking when it’s 95+ or -10 with frozen soil.
Dan White sent me here.
That one guy is massive.
Why is there cracks in the bottom of the brand new burial vault
I wont even need that lowering device as my family will most likely let me down in the end
It gave Can I trust my loved one to rest beside you
LORD GIVE EM PEACE
Never as good as dug by hand,I should know !
Than that is where you will stay forever...
А где прощание родственников у могилы?
Hey guys you should get your supervisors to buy you a bucket that's wide enough for the whole grave so as to save tons of time by not having a guy jump down to dig out the sides...
if i lived near there, i'd so say to them "shut up & take my money!" xD they do a damn good job. i'd give that place my business for sure. our services here in WV are trashy....ughhhh
how do they know EXACTELY where to dig
Just guessing.... I think there are markers in the ground so each grave can be located.
Many large cemeteries are now using very precise GPS systems for locating plots. Caterpillar equipment even has GPS guided backhoes to further assure accuracy. The systems were developed for use in National Cemeteries for the internment of our US veterans.
You must love Jehovah your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. You must love your neighbor as yourself. Jesus the anointed is Lord! Repent and be baptized and believe the Gospel.
Yes, and you will go to heaven and live happily ever after with God
I’ve never heard of a municipal grave yard
Why #32 unlike❓
Why would you not use anything for the tractor tires but you use something for truck tires.. and where is your 3ft bucket for that rink-y-dink backhoe arm.. yiked
why do cemetery/vault company personnel wait until the family is gone before beginning to close the graves up? they are families like mine that want to see the closure of the vault and put a few shovels of dirt in the grave as our closure. i know some families freak out at the grave closure and best not to see it. we all see this differently and should respect the family's wishes. if they want to leave or see the grave closed after the first shovel-fulls of dirt are put in by their families and friends it's their choice.
Наверное такое захоронение дорого стоит?
Just put me in a pine box, 36 inches, and let the Lord take me! Sheesh.
In the town I live in, for the very first burial, a hollowed out tree trunk was used as the casket. That was in the frontier days of course. I'd be fine with being buried in a tree trunk. Also, my uncle was displayed in a casket but requested that his body be transferred to a pine box for the actual burial. I might do that for the day the Lord takes if it be His will. Peace!
Why does the USA use a burial vault?
To protect the casket from being damaged and to prevent the grave from sinking
@@johnlesliemusic6402 to protect the casket from damage? Isn’t it made to become earth one day, same as the body?
I thought the family watches the coffin go down, not leave before it gets lowered.
Most of the time the remains are lowered in long after the mourners have left because it takes a bit of time to finish the burial process , the casket is put into the vault then both the vault and casket are lifted up so the lid can be placed on and sealed shut then the vault is then lowered into the grave which takes a few minutes to lower down.
It's best that the mourners not be there cause the cemetery workers have to be able to do their work easily and as quickly as possible so that they can prepare for another burial.
@@josephbennett3482 just yesterday at my college campus there's a cemetery & i was at a building next to it & i saw a funeral proceeding during it & the family all gathered for about 15 minutes & then after everyone left was when the casket was lowered. i think it depends on requests from the family's arrangements too
Jeez...isnt there an easier way to cut the sod??? Those guys must have aching backs...
I am predicting i live to 110. I am only 30 know. Born 7-9-1990 - Died 7-9-2100 = age 110
Meh. Try this method in super clay soil.
Ungah
Burial NO WAY: No matter how much you spend on coffin and vault. What happens to all bodies is not pretty. I choose crematiion.
Such a waste of time, money, land, Just silly
1:13, that is disrespectful, driving over someone else's grave to dig another! What's wrong, is using a shovel too hard?
It happens a lot more then you think, I’m sure you walk over someones grave when you visit a loved one. if you want to be out there in 100 plus degree weather digging for hours on end with a shovel your more than welcome to get down in the dirt with them, if not, don’t tell us how to do our job
Are you really that dumb? Complaining about people who are doing their job the proper way? Should they have thrown the concrete vault (easily 2000+ pounds) in the grave with their own hands too, just to make you happy? You would give up half-way through digging a grave by hand, probably died by the looks of it. People are so damn stupid these days
Was it disrespectful when they worked on your loved ones service? Have you tried backfilling a double depth grave in the rain by shovel? Believe me it's not easy to walk on let alone shovel mud while keeping the lawn as clean as possible!
Why park or ride the grave wear they removed headstone that is just disrespect n ill-mannered. They should be fired
Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!
How else you gonna dig a hole? You going to get out there with a shovel in that heat/rain/snow? Be my guest.
ESPECIALLY BECAUSE HE’S A PERVERT.
So hugely environmentally and financially wasteful but I guess thats the good old USA for you
