I'm currently going through the hardest time of my life and I can confirm that this statement is absolutely true and I would go as far as to say it's true for everybody even if you don't feel like it's true for you in this moment. I'm only 25 and I probably don't know much about life but to whoever reads this: Do the important things right now. If you are thinking about something that you want to do but it feels scary to do, try to jump right into it, unless it's something that is actually dangerous to do of course. Most of the other cases you won't regret doing it. It hurts so much more to not even try and realize years later that you will never have the chance to experience the joy of achieving that thing that you wanted to do back then. I know it's basically a meme nowaways but please just do it. Life is a gift and we should make the best of every moment. Yes I know, for some of us life sucks and life is absolutely not fair but that shouldn't make us feel hopeless because despite all this pain and suffering we can find so much joy during our relatively short time on this planet.
i'm more disappointed in the way i've been treated. not so much disrespect or hate, but the discarding, disregarding. and yeah people could say when it's up to me to reach out. but when you're disregarded so much, eventually you get tired because the actions are all on your part. i don't think people are malicious, but if you don't act in a way they immediately understand and it excites them or it's to their material benefit, more than likely, you'll be discarded, is my experience
Please also consider that sometimes the meaning of life is to be kind to those who don’t deserve it, too. You may be the first one who does that. That doesn’t mean you have to pander to them or put yourself in danger or anything, but if you can find some way to be kind to them even though they don’t deserve it, that’s pretty much always a win, too.

Expand those in to two groups of the ten commandments that goes into more detail. Expand that into the epic love story that is the bible. When we express it to our neighbor, we are in effect expressing love to God.
Sometimes love can be harsh and hurt when things don't go right. Real love is so much more than just kindness, it's also saying and doing what needs to be done and said even if the truth can sting ultimately steering those we love toward better things overall.

I think you're correct, it's love. I don't know how you figured it out but for me it was just using logic. Starting with the assumption that if there is a purpose then it should be something everyone can do from the moment they're born till the very last second of their life. Otherwise any life that ended too early would have been a life with no opportunity for purpose and therefore meaningless. That thing which all living humans share in common and we can all achieve from the second we're born till our very last breath is love. "Why not hate?" for the same reason it's not "being a good business man" or "being the best at your job", it has to be something everyone can do since you're born. People don't learn how to hate until their early teens or late childhood I feel like.
This was super real, absolutely had the same realization during a mushroom trip thinking of an organic form of love in and of itself in a clarity that seemed to make sense of everything.
You have discovered for yourself the simplest and most pure thing that gives meaning to life. Your situations and attitudes will change as you go through life, but make a point of trying, every day, to hold on to this wisdom that you have now.

This is definitely a part of what is important. It's because God first loved us that anybody is able to love. God is love. And "to live is Christ", as in Jesus Christ The Lord. He died and rose from the dead to forgive us all of our sins, so yes forgiveness is very important. Everything can be summed up as this: 'Love God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind" and "love your neighbor as yourself." My best advice is seek God earnestly and you will meet them.
