If you’re in aus you can find kangaroo and wild cattle at the local butcher’s for pretty cheap, it’s usually been hit by a truck tho so I understand why some people don’t like it.

Dieting is not expensive. My grocery store sells grass fed and finished ground beef for $6.99/pound. I eat a pound of that a day along with rice, milk, eggs and fruit. It comes out to like $15 a day and it’s extremely healthy.

Your main fat source should *not* be from animal products. High amounts of saturated fats are bad for you. Stick to things like roasted nuts, unsaturated oils, and fish for the majority.
