As a skeptic and atheist i've always been critical of things like this yet very interested by them. Recently i preformed some sigil magik as a fluke yet took the act seriously and threw all my beliefs away during the ritual. I wanted to give the process a fair shake...to my surprise..it worked! Now i feel like i have fallen down the rabbit hole and that magik can be free flowing and free of dogma. from what i have learned so far..chaos magic is really speaking to me in a way i can not explain and i find your videos very helpful and enlightening.
As an agnostic and a skeptic, i also approached this with caution and it did indeed work, several times now. I think the rational explanation here has something to do with the science facts and theories involving the human brain as a quantum interface to the universe. We are pulling on superstrings via "spooky-action-at-a-distance", or something to that effect.
Sounds groovy. I believe the Sigils are an electromagnetic frequency. Tied to the subconscious mind. I find them to be. Well I implement Alchemy Symbolism to my work. I use Latin dialect a lot to explain myself to I guess you can say the universe. We are our own personal God’s and Goddesses as a matter of a fact this is what Buddhism teaches us for the most part. I’m better off working with the geometric symbols that already just exist. But I’ve also created my own sigils which some work some don’t then. It’s all about experimentation in my opinion. We are free as God men and God women. A lot of mythology in my opinion was created to give people a purpose or to relate to some sort of divinity and then build off of that.
It can fit into any faith. Even a Christian could consider magic as just the part of us made in God's image. You could even run it a science. It is natural.

What a relief to discover chaos magick.. I've always done things intuitively without always knowing how or why. I've also tried to fit into certain boxes, and prefer to cherry pick. I've been watching a few of your videos over the past few days, and I've really enjoyed hearing your perspective and learning a little more. I do tend to feel that the only real truth is our own truth.. and you can't learn that from books 🙂 they are handy as pointers and "in-roads" though. i stumbled onto chaos magick by accident.
i had set two alarm clocks because i was a heavy sleeper.
i became aware of myself in the dissonant noise between the two alarms ..it was like i was awake but my body was unconscious.i heard my thoughts ..my typical wheel that spins with all the uncertainty and anxiety..and it just felt beneath me..literally.like i was floating above it.its changed my life.ive been working on techniques to move past ritual..i like what you said about never doing one from an empty place.this was an accident for me and now that i know its name i am obsessed because you cant go wrong with it.i see the sigils..the dream just manifests right in front of me.i love this.how exciting.love your blog.

:) Thank you - I like to inspire others to push the boundaries. To be honest, the way I find the time is to *make* it. I took a look at how I was spending my free time and decided to totally shift my priorities so that spirituality took first place. I think it's hard for people to feel justified in doing that, but once you've managed to do it unapologetically, it's totally worth it!

I hadn't heard of chaos magick, but everything you are saying is exactly what I've been thinking. I just called myself an atheistic wiccan and just did my own thing. Whenever I reached out to other wiccans, many seemed to feel I wasn't even wiccan, so I gave up hope there was a place for me, but I knew what I was doing what RIGHT. You know the feeling.
So thanks for making me feel like there is a place in the wiccan community for me. I'm really enjoying your videos. We are extremely similar, so seeing you declaring what you believe for all to see helps me give myself permission to be myself without fear.

Sigh. Oh, Kelly Ann, I could just listen to you talk for ages. I'm really finding my love for poetry rekindled, especially slam poetry, and that's becoming a bigger and bigger part of my spirituality these days. While I don't think Chaos Magick is something that resonates with me, it's definitely interesting to hear you speak about it!

Hi Cupcake (I just love your pet names) especially as my hubby is English too. I've only recently discovered your channel a couple of weeks or so ago. I absolutely love this video as it actually inspired me to really look into Chaos magick. Since watching this vid about 3 week ago, I've bought a few books by Peter Carroll and Phil Hine. As well as researching a lot more about Austin Spare. I haven't actually started practicing Chaos Magick yet. But I am looking fwd to doing so. Your such a brilliant young woman and I find your videos very intelligent and well expressed. I'm gradually working my way through them and like them all so far. I myself as a Crone now that I'm 50 but your the first younger person I have seen on here that really understands many ways of practicing the Craft. I too am an Eclectic Solitary Witch and like it that way too and tend to be a bit of a cherry picker too;) Maybe soon I may become a Chaos Witch too perhaps? Your very right about ritual being tiring and sometimes it can all be a bit much. Your very gifted!!

Ahh, my bookshelf is certainly an adventure it itself! There are many books on non-spiritual subjects though, so it wouldn't really go with the vibe of the channel but I recommend spiritual books at every opportunity. Looking forward to doing more book reviews.
So cool to see a female chaotist. I had to pick a label when I first started in magick and picked chaos magick. It was not until years later that I delved deeply in the study of it that I realized I had been doing it all the time.

im an illustrator and I am interested in the whole pagan thing but I feel like I have not been making time for it but lately. but listening to this vid made me realize that I have been worshiping Salvador Dali for the past few months as I have been incorporating his iconography in my Graphic Novel, I realize I have been practicing Art worship hehehe

I know what works and works well, and i see where i fit in, with out fitting in any where. every ritualistic process i read about sends me to boredom, maybe some people dont fit into any thing.
Since i first heard i was Pisces on the play ground in third grade, i understood the gravitational pull of the moon and the planets too. My outlet was couples synastry charts was my outlet , mostly for my friends. My first spell was writing a name of a person i wanted out of my life, on a paper and burning it, and it worked so well, i embraced my understanding of the energies of the universe at that point, and moved away from my parents dogma.. But about the burning of the paper, i have used that technique many times and it always works, but i do not consider it banishing, and it is not a protection spell, i am not sure what to call it. I am an astrologer but much, much more than that, because i connected to animals understanding their languages and i am a always talking to my higher power all day every day, and i see ancestor ghosts and forest spirits all the time, i understand omens. I have been called a witch, but i self identify as an alchemist and couples synastry astrologer(quadruple Pisces). i realize now i have been a natural chaos magician, from day one. But i was curious what you would call the burning of a paper to rid myself of something. What kind of spell is that?

Wow, very interesting. First video I've seen of you, or this type of Magick. It's strange because I have always been a "magnet" to witches, and don't know why?! I grew up in a 'haunted house,' been fascinated by the paranormal, and got involved trying to make sense of the home I grew up in. Since then I'm like a 'magnet to witches,' lol. I love them, and they like me as well. You seem to have a vast amount of knowledge (love it)! Gotta ask, since you mentioned so many books, do you read more than one book at a time? Odd question, maybe but I'm a voracious reader and pick up books, but don't finish them all. BTW, you're a beautiful woman, love your accent (I'm American). Is that a tattoo of a witch's eye on your... wrong hand, or did you draw it. If it's on your right hand, it's wrong. Left is the way of magick, and I always wanted a witch's eye on the back of my left hand, with the proper geometry surrounding it.

Those beads you have are soo cool!Well, you can teach them how to make sigels with their initial wish sentence & the chant out of the letters. Teach How to have a server & how to fire a sigel. Its not hard to explain. Basic chaos magick is easy. I could teach a child the basic ways to have a sigel firing ritual. The chaosphere, or what some call the tao is awesome. Remember the weather can be changed by a small cause which is why doppler never gets it right all the time . a ritual, firing a sigel out there into the chaosphere can end up making large changes in the environment. This my friends, is what magick is about.

So much to say here but I'll try to keep it short lol. More than anything I want to address the Tyr/Hel dynamic. I find as an eclectic/chaos magician that my matron and patron deities never match which for the longest time didn't sit well with me because that's the beginner's example. They have to be husband and wife, and they have to be from the same pantheon. But now I know that the way it works for me is that I would get a combo like what you have. Two deities from the same pantheon, but not necessarily husband and wife. Still gets confusing for things like yule and midsummer since it would look a bit incestuous, but I don't really celebrate sabbats anymore so it's fine. I also find it a little interesting that Shiva didn't turn out to be your patron. But then again, I like to mix and match and maybe you don't, or he was/is just a passing guide. I also feel a bit weird at times because I have multiple patron and matron deities from multiple pantheons whereas most people just have one set, again usually from a singular pantheon. But this is why I love the chaos path; so much freedom :D.
I really appreciate your comment. I wanted to craft a reply a while ago but couldn't really think about exactly what Shiva means to me. I came to realise a few nights ago that Kali and Shiva tend to be my 'go to' matron and patron for inner work, personal realisations and spiritual evolution. Tyr and Hel are much more relevant for the outer world, my actions and tangible goals, my relationships with others etcetera. And perhaps this is on account of the energetic tendencies and themes of the pantheons they come from.
I do celebrate the sabbats but I don't subscribe to the sexual/reproductive elements. I just make 'em my own. :)

Well let me tell you right now you are a depth enough to teach about chaos magic primarily because it's different for everybody so the people that learn from you aren't going to adopt your full practice they're going to take the pieces that work for them and then they'll take pieces from somebody else's practice that's kind of how chaos magic works...
And personally I would love to see explanations on your practice and other people's practice because there are a lot of videos on CZcams about what chaos magic is but there aren't any videos about practices that you can do at home.. pretty much there never any instructions on certain practices that can be done...
One point for you to consider as witches of this community is that u are already changing that stiff and hollow beggining for new witches, one would search stuff about witchcraft nowadays and will certanly find videos of this experienced witches saying "it's okay doing ritual or magick in your owm way" and it's so much more freedom than the path as described by books about witchcraft (even today). So for that: thank you, thats totally positive change u witches have done in the modern craft, but it creates a new scenario that is interesting. The craft we are creating right now is totally going a unknown way. How are we going to share that? :D

What an awesome video :-) had such a massive grin by the end watching this & soaking up your enthusiasm & smiles. Phrase of today has to be 'deity slut' lol. I've changed my mind about my deity, I don't think I know yet, over the last year I've felt Morrigan a lot, more recently Danu has really spoken to me too. I am just starting to study Norse mythology, which my mum has always been really into. I'm reading a really cute children's book by Francesca Simon, called 'The Sleeping Army' based on a girl growing up in a modern Britain, which never worshipped Christianity, it's viking gods instead, its so cool!!

All you need is silver dollar a round piece of metal and a round magnet sandwich the coin between the metal and the magnet wear it with the magnet side against you so its electromagnetic fields interacting with yours.

I this case your working with air but also cosmic and life force energies, Electromagnetism is Cosmic but it's also a life energy representing the sky air or cosmos, The Forces of the Universe are within electromagnetism so your creating a direct conduit to the Universe to allow it to interact with you through your bodies electromagnetic field which in part helps regulate your frequency, every object even money has its own frequency in our reality, as the Electromagnetic field passed through the coin through the metal it then passes into your electro magnetic field with the Qauntum signature of the money altering the magnets frequency it alters you're frequency boosting it while changing it to the money frequency Electromagnetic frequency.
It's a little more Qauntum level then that but that's the layman's exsplaination.
It works on a Cosmic Qauntum Magic level basically using all three reality influence systems to attract Money.
Or anything else your trying to attract or repel depending on of your using one magnet or two.

Qauntum electro static signature of the coin blends into the Magnets Electromagnetic frequency which then interacts with your own electromagnetic field.
Best way to describe how this works is by thinking of it like a vibration that ressonates against your frequency to a specific tune of ressonance.
Kind of like when loud music can be felt as it ressonates though your entire body not the best explanatory image but it's a more simplified exsplaination of how a vibration conducts through other surfaces across a room to you.
Basically Electromagnetism is a vibration like light and it's also part of the Electromagnetic spectrum.
Use whatever Magick incantation you like but I don't think you need it since it's already using cosmic forces.
To better understand how Electromagnetic force is cosmic you have realise that all celestial bodies like Stars, Planets, Humans have an electromagnetic field around them, The Universe is alive with a symphony of Electromagnetic fields you can actually hear them from NASA recordings easily found on youtube, Buts that not all it does every object in existence has an electro-static field around it created from electrons that make them solid objects so it actually binds the Universe together creating our reality.
Electromagnetism is severely unsderstated in Magik the load stone isn't called a Witches stone for nothing.
I also highly recommend listening to Planetary and Celestial Magnetic fields while doing workings which raise your vibration to the Cosmic scale bringing you in greater alignment with the Universe that you are trying to effect with your intention.
Be a Cosmic Witch and realise your Cosmic connection to the Universe.
When I say this I'm not saying don't be a clChaos Witch I'm saying recognize and connect to your cosmic potential, Many Witches don't even realize the Cosmos as a scource of power other then planetary and Constellation alignment in relation to the Zodiac.
There's far more to accessing the Cosmos as a power scource.
Magnets are kind of like an ark to directly communicate your vibration to the Universe's.
This is also Chaos Magick because it's order from chaos the big bang shaking things up to establish potentiality.
Cosmic forces are too often Ignored.
Most.Magick users use thier own energy to power Magick you don't need to and shouldn't Magick will drain you until your sick.
If you don't assign a power scource as a rule to a spell that spell will draw it's energy from you.
The intention has to be the rule for the power scource to be assigned.
Use the Earth or constellations, maybe you want to banish something well use a black hole then, you can assign other energy sources to power your Magick.
Also dreams are like Tarot Cards write them down and represent each one as spread read the imagery from your dreams you are not using actual tarot cards to do this, your basically drawing the spread and writing the dream imagery into the spaces then read the imagery like it's a tarot card.
Also know that dreams are often parallel realities where you seem to know the people in the dream or you seem comfortable or familiar with the surroundings but you've never been there before,but it seems normal and familiar enough in the dream you don't question it, Because your Consciousness is overlapping your parallel counterparts where your Consciousness has merged with thiers that person is you too but a parallel reality version of you so your consciousness is compatible and you become fused becoming each other in one form, so when you break the connection by waking up your parallel counterparts memories begin to fade away really quickly so you need to write them down.

And also, are you checking that the CZcams video volume is up? (I've noticed that it keeps automatically setting quite low when I'm watching other people's vids and I have to turn it up.)
I'm watching it on my laptop. And my computer and youtube volume are both all the way up. This video was quieter than other videos I've watched on youtube today. I hooked my laptop up to my ipod speakers and turned them all the way up so I could hear it. I havent needed to do that with any other videos in my feed today. I mean I can hear it without doing that but there just has to be no background noise in my house or else I cant. Could it be your mic? maybe you're not close enough to it?
Sarah Wood I'm going to try and do a few more videos on my boyfriend's Mac rather than using my camera. I think if I'm sat far away from my camera, it creates an issue on some people's devices. If you get a chance, can you take a quick look at one of my Gypsy Palace Major Arcana videos and tell me if you can hear them ok? That would confirm my suspicions as I'm sitting much closer to the camera in those ones.
