When I was born my mom would be listening to Madonna and I immediately felt in love with her music, as the decades go by, I listen to her daily. However when I first heard Pink sing: she took me to another dimension!! Her extremely honest and raw, deep and sincere voice stole my soul! Everything she sings is better because of her voice, her tamed emotions and her roughness shows that me how frail and how vulnerable we human beings are, but she is unbelievably beautiful and talented!!!! I’m sorry Madonna, I adore you but Pink is Pink!!!!!

Yes.. the same energy that it would take to bash and hate could be used to just accepting the good in people and moving on and doing your thing. Pink is so cool that way..taking that energy and putting it into her music and her staying the course. I think that's why so many people can sense she's the real deal. Yeah.. every artist has moments and such, but Pink is very unique and that's why her fans and even those of us who are not, STILL are interested in what she does because she's got amazing talent and is always hungry and always learning to be a better person, artist, etc.!

It is a beautiful thing when we support, celebrate, and uplift each other and leaving that as part of the legacy for generations to come...especially for young girls, IMO. This reminds me to also do better and check my jealousy when it rears is ugly head because it's not cute.

I had never heard this song before but I'm reading this book that came out recently called "Lola in the mirror" by Trent Dalton and I'm up to the chapter that mentions this song and wow I'm glad I looked it up. It adds to the experience of reading this book
