When new artists and new kind of "music" come in is just us (I believe) those that grew up to listening to her music. I think many artists just rather not do that type of new "music" or just try and work so they can keep up with the "trend" but that's just how I see it sometimes. Cause some have been singing for a very long time and people would think the artist is new... For example Sia, she has been singing for a very long time and many don't know her first album was 1997 and they just got to know her when "Chandelier" came out. Is just that some of these young people are more use to the trend and some of the new artists. Hell! People already want to act like there's no more space for the Ogs and the rookies which is dumb. But Aguilera will forever be my 1st fav and than the rest 😊💕

By the many of celebrities, she has gotten a lot credit. She is, "Voice of Her Generation" and even Rolling Stone magazine.

I think she's gotten a lot of credit...Over 75 million albums sold, multiple number one albums, tv shows and appearances, face of multiple brands over the years. Sure she hasn't sold 200 million albums or more like some artists, but she's far from not getting credit. Her voice is definitely incredible, right up there with some of the best, she's one of my favorite singers and vocalists, right up there with Mariah, Celine, Whitney and newest in the lineup, Ariane Grande (although, I don't like as much of her music, her voice is ridiculous).

I would say her singing voice is whatever she wants it to be. Aggressive. Soft. Loud. Low. Deep. High. Amazing range.
But yes, the change from her speaking voice to singing voice is often jarring depending on the song. Like, really, really jarring. Girl has alien vocal chords.
