  • Glass ionomer cement (GIC) is a dental restorative material used in dentistry as a filling material and luting cement.       Its subjective. In my opinion gc excells in gic products because they have been manufacturing it from beginning. However 3m is also not bad.l, but personally feel gc does better

    But isnt the compressive strength of zinc phosphate is highest of all the cements...it was even mentioned in your lecture on zinc phosphate that it is better than GIC amd polycarboxylate

      Dycal is the best brand in calcium hydroxide which is used as a liner or subbase. If you want to learn more about the liner bases and varnish for pulp protection then pls do check this playlist

      U can use but the strength would be less. The type 2 has better strength

      Thats how the material affects the property. Initially settings is slowed, final settings is rapid..
